OVERVIEW
KN-967 is one of the many brainwashed and psycho-conditioned from a very young age, believed to be somewhere between her third and fourth birthday.
Her birth name, homeworld, and any memories from her life before were scrubbed and erased, replaced with flash-imprinted memories to focus her loyalty and motivation in support of her overlords.
She serves as an Non-Commissioned Officer in the field, a Corporal leading a fire team of Stormtroopers for the Dark Empire.

HISTORY
KN-967 remembers nothing of her life before being indoctrinated and conditioned into the Imperial Remnant's’s Stormtrooper Corps. From time to time she has dreams of a man’s soothing voice, a woman singing lullabies, though obviously she has no actual memories of her infancy or early childhood. What she does remember is being raised on a space-bound facility above the ruins of Exegol among her fellow recruits, all parentless orphans raised by the Academy in preparation for the next war. Her earliest memories are of competition, against and with her comrades in grueling physical and mental tests, harsh environments.
As part of her training, she and others like her were made to fight one another tournament style from her preteen years. KN-967 found herself starting in the losers bracket, where she struggled to maintain her status, forcing her to train harder and become more vicious, more ferocious, which she managed well enough.
Early in her life she remembers the taste of her own blood in her mouth, and the sensation of taking another’s life in anger and without emotion. She has hardened overtime, and no longer feels anything, not sorrow, not rage during combat, dispassionately dispensing violence when called upon. She recalls live fire exercises and seeing comrades killed because they were sloppy or were in shock after being wounded, but she survived, whether through grit and force of will, or through some miracle of fate, or the will of her superiors.
By adulthood, she had accomplished much but was still smeared by her earlier failures and lacked exceptional abilities or growth to justify great leaps in the academy, so she was pushed into the place of an NCO Team Leader.

PERSONALITY
KN-967 is driven, deeply motivated by a need to prove herself worthy and greater than she is perceived as. She is not mean, merely dispassionate and cold, lacking empathy and compassion for others in any sense. Her purpose is to achieve victory, and towards that end she will take any steps she deems necessary regardless of cruelty or kindness, selfishness or selflessness.
Away from battle she can partake in the odd prank here or there among her comrades, and can laugh and cut up in the barracks, however she struggles to form bonds beyond surface friendships with those around her. KN-967 knows that she should be able to form friendships, and knows that it is normal to care about the people close to her, but she has not been able to train herself to actually do so. Only to mimic it externally for the benefit of those around herself.
She struggles with that disability, and has frequent nightmares and dreams, likely caused by having her memories manipulated and has difficulty with the fact she keeps this secret from her comrades and superiors, done mostly out of fear of being labeled defective and stalling her career advancement because of it.
ATTRIBUTES
Total lack of empathy is both a blessing and a curse. It comes with immense loneliness being unable to truly connect with others, to be in a crowd and still feel as though surrounded by an impenetrable void, but protects one from the pain of loss and the horrors of combat.
Pride cometh before the fall, and KN-967 does take great pride in herself. Pride motivates her, to convince herself and others she is the best. Pride punishes her when she falls short of her goals and the missions given to her by her superiors.
Fear leads to suffering, and she does have fear. Not fear of battle, of death or dying. Fear she is not good enough. Fear of herself, because she understands she is deeply broken inside, and she blames herself for these defects that she tries to hide, even from herself. But one cannot hide the truth, not forever.
Loyalty to her cause, spreading order to the Galaxy as a tool of her masters, the Imperial Remnant, is bound deep within her soul. No secret thoughts of disloyalty or doubt of her mission bubble in the depths of her mind, though even that is not wholly good. She recognizes peace, prosperity, order is not the natural state of nations and rationalizes the war, the bloodshed, the torments inflicted upon the galaxy as necessary to instill fundamental change. But what will happen to the warriors when true, lasting peace is finally achieved?

NOTABLE SKILLS
KN-967 is a trained Stormtrooper, given marksmanship training, martial arts and self-defense courses, wilderness survival exercises in harsh biomes she might encounter, and being an Non-Commissioned Officer she has completed some basic leadership seminars.
She is a cut above the standard trooper, but her early evaluations training in live fire simulations brought her final scores below what would be acceptable for Special Forces training without exemplary combat experience to justify it.

➣ Crushgaunts | Her gauntlets are fitted with weakened versions of Mandalorian Crushgaunts, not made from legendary Beskar, but from cheaper, less resistant, composites instead.
➣ ARC-9965 Blaster Rifle fitted with an Under-barrel Grenade Launcher | An upgrade from the classic E-11 focused more on Accuracy fitted with Optics and an under-barrel grenade launcher to provide support.
➣ Vibro-Hatchet | A short hafted Vibro-Hatchet as a survival and entrenching tool when needed, a deadly weapon when desired.
➣ Grenades [Mission Profile Dependant]
KN-967 will also typically carry a support weapon to benefit her team’s intended combat use, such as a RPS-6 Rocket Launcher for Anti-Armor, a A280 Blaster Rifle to function as a DMR, a FWMB-10K as a Squad Automatic Weapon, or a E-11s Sniper Rifle if she intends to provide Overwatch for an advance team.
Stormtrooper armor typically comes equipped with grappling hooks, high-tension wire, flares, rations, water packs, emergency medical packs, combat de-ionizers, electronic lock scrambler/descramblers, and spare comlinks. In addition to her weapons and equipment, KN-967 may carry any number of pieces of mission appropriate equipment in a backpack attached to her backplate.
