- Shield Generator
- Collapsible Dispersion Field Generators
- Electromagnetic Hardpoints
- Leather Strap Mounts
- Collapsible Dispersion Field Generators: The Shield is built around a frame of emitters which can shrink for storage, or for a smaller, more maneuverable shield.
- Electromagnetic Hardpoints: The shields are naturally designed to attach to armored gauntlets, as the vast majority of users wear armor.
- Leather Strap Mounts: The shields have mounts where leather straps can be added to hold the shield in place the old fashioned way.
- Very High Defenses: The Shields take a page out of the Gungan's book, and emit a shield capable of blocking Lightsabers, Blasters, and Kinetic Attacks.
- Collapsing Arms: If these are damaged, the shield can become locked in whatever configuration it's in at the time.
- Directional: While the shields may offer stellar defense, they are still directional shields, and require active engagement by the user to work effectively
- One Hand Wonder: The Shield requires an arm to hold it, leaving the hand free, but at a severe reduction to dexterity.
- Emitters: The Shield has emitters dispersed around the arms. If they are damaged, portions of the shield will cease to function
- ION: While the shield itself may deflect ION blasts, EMP blasts, or Ion blasts to unshielded portions, can deactivate the shield.
Created shortly before the battle of Shadow's Peak, the Warden Shield did not see mass distribution until after the fateful battle. Designed with function in mind, VTI adapted Gungan shield technology to create a more modern "Riot shield" capable of deflecting or blocking a wide array of attacks. The Warden Shields feature two modes, the first being a smaller dueling shield designed for deflection and redirection, intended for lightsaber combat. This mode is also ideal for storage and transport. The larger mode allows the user to defend themselves more easily from blasters in open combat, though certainly still usable as parry shields. While the shields are naturally designed to latch on to armored gauntlets, strap mounts were added for the benefit of those individuals who preferred robes to armor.
