Korr and the Silver Jedi

Last time the issue came up I was busy IRL and did not address it. The latest thread I joined reminds me of the existence of this issue, so I'll address it now succinctly.

Oftentimes the sentiments of a character are attributed as being the same held by the writer. While true in some circumstances, this is not true for Ryan Korr.

Korr the Jedi does not like Silver Jedi due to past experiences. It is part of his daily struggle with the dark side.

I, the writer, do not share nor do I harbor any such feelings toward the faction, or its OOC members.

Hopefully, this clears that issue up. If anyone needs further clarification please ask below, or PM me.

First, I'd like to state for the record that I'm not aware of any Silver writers that had an issue with your post in our current ongoing thread. I think it was more or less understood that it was Ryan the character and not the writer voicing his disdain for the SJO. I'm aware of his history with Arisa's predecessors.

With that said, thank you for the clarification. I know from first-hand experience how difficult it can be to write an abrasive character without others taking it personally. From a writer's perspective, it's kind of boring just having everyone just magically get along without any conflict. It will be interesting to see how things play out between Arisa and Ryan going forward.

I must say I am unclear as to what has prompted this thread. However, what your character/s think is entirely IC regarding anything in RP.

As for writer to write I don't have a problem with you or anyone else really.

Sorry I am a little in the dark over this to be honest.
