Korriban

With the latest map update, the Primeval have officially gone minor which frees up a host of worlds to the North:

Not the least of which is Korriban, the ancient Sith homeworld. Since the fall of the old Sith Empire, it has been controlled by the Mandalorians, the Republic, and most recently the Primeval. I think it would be an interesting dominion to say the least, considering its close connection to the Dark side of the Force.

Our main goal would be to explore the Sith crypts (although don't expect to find much of worth as they've been looted many times over since the fall of the Sith Empire) and to set up enclaves to begin healing the planet of the influences of the Dark side.

There's no rush in getting to this, as we have little in terms of competition. I don't expect the Mandalorians to be interested in it what with their ongoing civil war and bouts with the Republic. If we're lucky, taking Korriban will also give us Malachor V on the way there.

This is very much still in a planning stage, so feel free to come up with objectives and/or storylines! :)

"Korriban shall be as it always was. A graveyard for the darkest of the Sith Lords, still whispering within their tombs. It shall always be a source of evil, spawning threats throughout the millennia. It, like Malachor, brushes the edges of the empire that waits in the dark. And like Malachor, the Sith have forgotten it… for a time. They will remember." -Kreia

I am SO up for this especially since I was just teaching Sith Acolytes there like two weeks ago

I'd like to use this to get back into things - plenty of good opportunities siphoning the balance between Light and Dark etc etc.

:)

I must respectfully but strongly object to the idea of 'healing the planet from the influence of the Dark Side'.

Verily, this infringes upon the locals' (and Sanctum citizens') religious freedom to practice the Force in any lawful way they see it, by discriminating against Dark Side practitioners.

Clearly this attempt to impose Jedi cultural hegemony must be resisted.

* ends totally logical, not at all inconsistent rant *

On a more serious level, I'll probably be there under this face or another. Maybe Sumiko can explore a tomb and have a 'chat' with an ancient spirit again. Or Sio.

There were those random NPCs in KotoR!

Not sure what they actually did for living, aside from hanging around at the Dreshdae Spaceport and getting randomly Force Choked by Sith, but nonetheless. :D

* Sio claims a Sith Temple because of reasons *

This will be fun. Krest would certainly find a reason or two to walk around the planets surface, especially since he helped make a Sith Academy way back when.

Right, there's still a Sith Academy on the planet [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] , perhaps we could get some good old fashion Jedi v Sith goin?

Maybe Mr. [member="Connor Harrison"] can reach out to a troubled padawan, or perhaps the Lady Firemane herself, [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] can try to cultivate the darkness in the poor confused padawan's soul. :p

I'm totally not fishing for threading opportunities.... honest. <.<;;;;;;;;;;;

I led a group of Sith Acolytes to the Valley of the Dark Lords for some training shortly before my defection. Dont think its seen much action since, though.

If anyone wants to hang out with someone who knows the place, i'm your man *wink*

If I remember right there is a lore sub in the codex for it. The primeval made it very public to all Sith of the OS as a sign of friendship. While it wasn't used all that much and was probably forgotten OOC, I'd imagine IC its still pretty active.

When I get home from work I'll see if I can find it.
