Koto Demascón of House Marr
Character
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
A tall Korun, dark skin, short hair, and physically fit, looking a bit old for his physical age. The man’s face and body when seated or standing still seem to show almost no movement beyond breathing, an occasional blink, and one particular trait in the incessant tapping of a finger exactly one galactic standard second apart. When he does move, he usually does so like he wants something to kill. His eyes bear a dark red, something taken from the Marr side of his ancestry.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Koto is reckless, brutal, and firmly a dark sider. He serves his interest in strength, survival, and combat. And almost anything else. Though he can gain bonds, his skill in doing so with something like his Ghosh of his world was far more loosely bound than his bonds with individuals. He has some beliefs, but most of those even are loosely held. And more on the back of his mind than actual intentional ideas.
Along with his dark nature, Koto suffers from his time in carbonite in which his mind was able to partially keep itself wandering. So much that Koto instinctively taps at exactly one galactic standard second apart. With a finger, with the force, sometimes even by turning his eyes in motion with it. This is to replicate the clock that was always going during his imprisonment. If he stops that ticking, it’s because he’s about to or currently acting. And probably with violence.

Koto is an absolute pinnacle of physical fitness, his strength, stamina, speed, endurance, and agility would make an iridonian zabrak jealous. He is used to utterly inhumane lifestyle, constant threats, and creatures even more beyond his own physical strength and speed. His immune system is also absolutely remarkable.
Koto's grew up in a world of constant danger, and his ability to remain focused even under extreme pain and danger is a perfect reflection of it. His experience means even if faced with greater enemies than himself, he can still preform extremely well physically and mentally. His life-style also resulted in getting used to many weapons and intense combat, though no real experience with blaster tech, he's thoroughly used to slugthrowers and metal weaponry.
As with any good force sensitive, Koto possesses precognition and many basic effects in the force. And like with many of his people, he did learn the skill to command and bind himself with an Akk Dog.
Inexhaustible Force Reserves: While Koto actually struggles to exert himself massively in the force to create waves or rip through an enemies force barrier, he can imbue his physical abilities and maintain his precognition or most other powers almost indefinitely.
Force sense: Koto's force sense is not a standard one. His sense is to hearing, whit a miraluka's is to their sight. He hears almost every noise through the force, every buzz of wings, ever tick of a clock or beep of a machine. It's not quite literally his ears receiving it, but directly sent to his mind just as a miraluka does. This applies even to presences in the force, they all 'ping' differently, when they use the force, it has a tone. When they're angry, he may hear it.
Projection of will/emotion: Koto can project his will and feelings through the force with incredible skill, though when doing so forcefully it's more restricted. It can be incredibly detailed, and focused, as though one were intending it themselves, at least in their own imagination, feeling it almost as their own if not even becoming their own.
Mind over matter: As long as Koto is connected to the force and not dead, his mind refuses to go unconscious. His eyes can be blinded, his hearing deaf, his brain can be put to sleep, and yet he remains. Even if limited. His enhanced sense and projection are almost impossible to subdue, even from a greater enemy, and allow him a remarkable level of resilience against attempts to attack him while asleep, or put him to sleep through poisons or the force.
Imbuement: Beyond the aforementioned abilities, Koto really only has learned of two. Imbuement of his body's physical abilities, and pyrokinesis. The former would hardly be uncommon for a truly strong force sensitive living in his conditions, but he's especially good at imbuing his own durability, and his hands or equipment very much like Force Weapon. This is of course temporary, but it provides a huge advantage in the midst of combat to cause more damage than you should, and endure far more as well.
Pyrokinesis: Although numerous sith can impart far more damage with mere force lightning, and even over a greater distance, Koto is able to produce, endure, and guide combustion pretty effectively. Sending with most attacks, a burst of intense flame along with it. Although this ability doesn't have the greatest effectiveness over a distance, and is a league behind lightning in terms of how quick it is, it at least provides a constant threat. It is also the only ability that seemed to come to him purely naturally, rather than by his circumstances.
Utter blank faced: All his time in carbonite, yet partially conscious, means that his body barely ever reacts to his emotional responses. At best, his brain does. But without him actually putting some kind of effort into showing something, the only way to sense his emotions, is through the force, or through his communication.- Link to Weaknesses
-
Reckless: Koto refuses to acknowledge fear. And almost never backs down until there is absolutely no choice, and even then, he's failed before. This has numerous times resulted in injury, and was also eventually the result of him getting imprisoned in carbonite.
Almost no training: Koto knows few abilities, and almost no philosophy. He's pretty good at what he does know, but what he does know is less than even a knight when it comes to the force.
Minimal experience with technological advancements: Due to the nature of Harun Kal ruining technology, Koto got precious little experience in things like blasters or ships. He vaguely gets the concepts, but is far more used to things that don't have to rely on batteries to work.
Tac, tac, tac: Koto can't help himself from tapping or moving in some way at exactly 1 second intervals most of the time. At least without something picking up the noise for him. The only exceptions to this is when he's in regular motions. The reason for this, is that his time in carbonite his mind was going, and sensed the constant ticking of a clock, but his body was still. Now, whether or not he despises that time, he cannot keep himself from needing that incessant ticking to prevent himself from being on the move.
No sleep: Due to his inability to ever truly go unconscious while connected to the force, he essentially can't actually sleep. And only at best reaches a sort of meditation that helps rejuvenate the body and mind. But it does mean that there are no dreams, and there's no such thing as a 'fresh mind' so to speak that a sleep state can offer.

HISTORY
Koto is a brutish man, while many Korun can easily fall to the dark side, and their culture is certainly more harsh than most, they are hardly inherently evil. And still can have just as much care for each other as anyone else. But their world is a very difficult one, no matter who lives on it.
Koto didn’t fit as well into his Ghosh at large. He preferred individuals far more than wider groups, and he was far too risk-prone than most of them. And he was also far more unnecessarily violent, Koto saught it out with those of other Ghosh, and of other worlds, regardless the consequences.
One day he was driven out, while still quite young, and began to survive on his own for a time. Until he eventually made his way to the outsiders city, that was so devoid of the worlds climate as they kept it at bay by destroying it nearby. It was the only reason their technology could work.
But, with no Ghosh, with no rulers he considered valid, and no interest in starving. Koto very simply took whatever he needed, and fought anyone who tried to stop him. Things escalated, and escalated, he killed several guards, and plenty more civilians, before they finally stunned him.
Then to a prison, which he escaped once he woke up by managing to overheat the shield projectors. But this time, he heavily underestimated their preparations for his escape. Deciding he was far too much a threat, and possibly insane, to be let free. They froze him in carbonite.
Only that too didn’t quite go as planned, an error in the freezing and systems of the carbonite during transit meant even if ever so slightly, Koto’s brain was somehow active. Barely, and maybe not even for long. But long enough that his presence in the force tookover, that he began to sense things. People, frozen, or free, ticking, beeping, anger, screaming, calm. He heard them despite the carbonite in his ears. And every moment, tick, tick, tick, tick. The clock never wavered.
Time passed, he could not truly think very well during it. And perhaps his mind did truly freeze over. But by now, he could sense it all anyway, he could feel, and he could hear. And it infuriated him, it hurt him, that indefinite torment of being utterly still for potential eternity. Or perhaps even dying this way. He HAD to be free.
He reached out, with his mind, with all his will. So many times. Tried to convince the guards. Maybe they couldn’t hear him, or feel him. Maybe he wasn’t strong enough, yet. But he’d work at it. Work very very hard. And yet, there was no one there. He didn't know when that happened. All he knew, was tic, tic, tic, tic.
