Looks awesome to me and I like the fact that it will be free if you already own the game. I have it... but really need to play it through soon. If only I had the time!

ehhh at best they might just write it off as a mod like the restoration mod was. It would be great to have an updated and official one from EA/Bioware though.

Ahhh so it's more a fan remake. I was going to say...what would be the REAL drive to remake this game by Disney/LucasArts when there is so much more out there to create and offer surrounding the new era of SW material..

I hear the remastered KOTOR is a mod for now, I'd love to see it come out as an individual game almost like how the Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary did where you could play the game in the remastered graphics, and switch seamlessly in between new and old.

Damn this thread got me excited.

From a quick-readover it seems that its a remaster (using the Unreal Engine, which is nice since the most recent iteration of that engine is amazing).

But yes for KOTOR2 (Sith Lords) there is a restoration mod out there that includes all the story segments that were left out by OBSIDIAN in the original release.
