DESCRIPTION
Kova Apparel was made with the dedicated purpose of filling a niche in women’s fashion; clothing for the adventurous woman, for fighters and explorers such as the women leading the operation themselves. Their products are designed to be as practical and as comfortable as they are stylish, tailored for such purposes as combat and adventure. Though Kova strives to make its ranges varied and accommodating, they happily take custom orders if the one asking has the credits.
Looking away from what Kova does, there are a few things worth noting regarding how they do it. The first; Kova Apparel was created by [member=Aria Vale], [member=Darth Imperia], and [member=Kaalia Voldaren], the Valkyries of the Sith Empire. As one could imagine, this leads into strong bias regarding Kova's customers - namely, they will not knowingly sell their products to buyers either part of or highly associated with the Jedi. The second; while Kova Apparel is a shockingly legitimate company as far as their operations go, they do not object to partnering with those who deal in less reputable trades.
RATIONALE
The idea to create a clothing business came about on a whim in the midst of conversation amidst the Valkyries - all three of them Sith warriors who, among other things, enjoyed fine clothing and appreciated the lack of quality fashion suited to the field. After some discussion, the women agreed that filling that gap in the market had the potential to be a nice source of income, at the very least. More consideration turned the idea into a plan, and when the Sith Empire took to Kol Huro to spread their influence, the Valkyries saw their opportunity and went along.
They set up shop on the factory planet at once. After various meetings to secure their main business partners and suppliers, the group made use of Imperia's connections with the slave trade to create a fairly sizeable work force and pooled together resources to begin production. Once the company, later named Kova, had a foundation within Kol Huro, its owners decided they had what they needed to launch the business and thus made their entrée into the fashion industry.
