PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Kraden stands slightly taller than most Bothans but with a wiry thin build. Age has turned some of his deep brown fur a silvery gray. The mane that surrounds his face likewise has begun to show signs of aging, and the beginnings of wrinkles mar his face. There are permanent marks across his back where fur does not grow, a sign of his time as a slave.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Kraden is not a good man, his beliefs revolve entirely around his own lust for power and wealth. To that end he often sees people around him as pawns to be played with. People who offer nothing to Kraden are usually ignored or treated with outright hostility. Whenever possible he will drain those around him of whatever he needs before disappearing at his earliest convenience. The only lasting relationships he seems form are those that benefit him in some way long term, with very few exceptions.


STRENGTHS

Business!- Kraden is a shrewd business man who often throws his credits into various rackets. This translates to having large amounts of credits on hand at all times. Perfect for greasing the social wheels.

Slippery as an Eel- Whether it be planetary law enforcement or underworld toughs, Kraden knows how to make himself scarce. He has escaped from prisons and starships alike in the venture of preserving his own skin. Better to keep a close eye on him.

Friends in low places- Kraden is good at networking and has connections in many syndicates and cabals around the galaxy. This can make him an asset to have on one's side either as an ally or as an informant.

WEAKNESSES

Frail as paper- Age has not been kind to Kraden's body. He is not as hale and hardy as most crooks out there. One solid punch is enough to send him toppling over. Don't expect much physical resistance.

Rhuematism- Living fast and loose in his younger years has left Kraden with some well worn joints, especially in his legs. While still mobile enough to get around day to day, he often has flare ups that cause severe pain and impacted ability to do strenuous tasks.

Quick temper- Kraden has a tendency to fly off the handle in stressful situations. He will often act before he thinks, which for someone in criminal enterprise can be very dangerous.

HISTORY
It is difficult to discern what is true about Kraden's past and what isn't. Names and places are highly inconsistent, and the narrator is highly unreliable. There are a few solid facts which can be used as a rough roadmap for Kraden's life.

He was born with the name Jirik Belmond on the planet of Bothawui to a rich merchant family. When his Father's business began failing assets had to be liquidated, Kraden's father saw his son as an asset. When sold into slavery years passed before Kraden would eventually escape by stowing away on a spacecraft bound for Coruscant. He immediately fell in love with the towering spires and bright lights.

On the lower levels of Coruscant he would work for many shady businesses, learning how wheel and deal while evading planetary security. His first business venture was a weapons manufacturing business which he use to help fund the Republic during their war against the CIS. He became friends with several Republic senators, and even a small number of Jedi. However, soon the Republic would give rise to the Galactic Empire. In order to save himself from possible persecution by the Empire, he informed them of the location of a number of Jedi.

After spending a short time as an informant for the Empire, Kraden returned to the glactic underworld where he ran afoul of a pirate band known as the Blades of Mustafar. They drove him to change his identity and live as a merchant in the Outer Rim, where he joined a small crew aboard a ship known as The Tenacity.

During one incident on the ship, Kraden's cryopod would malfunction and he would find himself waking up some 900 years later in present day. He found that he had a large store of credits which he quickly dipped into to restore some of his businesses.
