Daughter to a serial entrepreneur, Krasnaya grew up on the floating platforms of Bespin with her father after her mother took the money and ran. While there was opportunity to be had in the tibanna gas business, nothing was the same with all the savings gone. But her father was a resilient and defiant man, and he strove to get themselves back in financial shape and--eventually--have his revenge on his fickle wife. They would be pressed to learn the tibanna business together if they wanted somewhat of a normal life back.
Being quite adaptable to the circumstances, Mr. Xue developed his skills in the gas mining trade and flexed his organizational muscle to initiate a backrooms movement with fellow workers that would forcibly establish a union. The labor party’s efforts began to cripple the corporate foundation and an all-out war broke out between the management and labor factions as the corporate heads decided to retaliate. Krasnaya had the job of coordinating tug and barge movements to transport the workmen forces, her participation practically mandatory but her father protective enough to keep her out of direct harm.
Eventually the big guns came out and the labor movement was nearly wiped out. Krasnaya’s father was able to escape Bespin by miracle, but his daughter had been left behind to deal with the consequences. She had her father’s grit, however, and soon rebirthed the inner-corporate war with a new strategy. At twenty-two years, the forgotten daughter rallied the laborers once more, but this time they would outfox the management under her command of the airships. She developed pirate bombardment tactics that were utilized to finally bring the corporate faction to its knees. The unionizers ultimately won under her command, though salvage of the local industry was all but futile.
Bountied by the business magnate who owned the conquered facilities, Xue was forced to flee the nearby systems and found her way to Praesitlyn, where she was taken in by the local population and later was recruited into the Rebel Alliance for strategic logistics and fleet operations roles.
Her tenure with the Alliance included commanding the premier Rebel naval force, the Red Fleet, and carrying the rank of Admiral. Xue successfully guided her fleet to victory in the first defense of Geonosis, though sheer massive numbers eventually would prevail against the Rebel forces in the consecutive invasion. She continued to lead the navy in the Alliance's following forays, but even noble causes come to an end.
As the feasibility of maintaining a Rebellion began to fade, Krasnaya was forced to adapt a more civilian life once more, skirting most factional territories and arriving on the Mid Rim planet of Taloraan, a gas giant not dissimilar to Bespin. Given its neutral standing and her experience in fleet operations, she was determined to be a prime candidate for managing airspace control at the Cherniy City mining colony.
