GENERAL INFORMATION
Unit Name: Militia Infantry
Affiliation: Darth Morta/Sith Order
Classification: Infantry
Description: The Krayiss II Militia Infantry as a military unit was designed with one goal in mind, putting as many warm cabible bondies into uniforms as possible. Once a militia member is trained and equipped, one of three things happens: They are put into a reserve unit, only called on when the planet itself is threatened or civil emergencies. They are put into an active unit where they are used for offensive or defensive duty stations. They are pulled for more advanced training based on the profiencies they exhibited during basic training or based on aptitude tests they took upon enlisting. Every member of the Militia is capable of acting as a basic infantry trooper and so is always been taught to do so before advancing to whatever position they occupy later in their career.

Combat Function: The basic infantry of the militia is used for anything that needs warm bodies, manning checkpoints, doing security details, throwing massive amounts of bodies at an objective, doing riot control, or working on civil projects. They can not function on a battlefield independently and aren't equipped to deal with much more than other infantry, though they're loyal and trained to a professional standard, so when they die in droves at least it's done in a neat and orderly manner.

Strengths:
- Strength in numbers - Like a hydra, cutting one body down only means that two more are ready to take their place on the line.
- Motivated - Most, if not all, members of the militia joined as a method to escape a life of poverty and with generous payouts to next of kin, higher than a normal salary or pension, death on the battlefield means a better life for next of kin. On top of that, they are heavily propagandized so that they are fanatical in how they are willing to throw their lives away in pursuit of their objectives.
- Support Required - The militia infantry can not function on their own on a modern battlefield; they have no attached heavy weapons that can't deal with more lightly armoured vehicles or massed infantry.
- Cheap and Dirty - The armour for the milita is the cheapest bottom-of-the-barrel mass produced equipment, they have the the strength to stand up to civilian weapons, and shrapnel, if the explosion is far enough away, but against military weapons they can do little more than turn a lethal shot into a survivable wound in the best case senario.
The Krayiss II militia has largely been untested so far, only being used in several minor riots, but with the collapse of two nearby interplanetary governments and the local unrest due to poverty Darth Morta rapidly expanded the Planetary Defence Forces, more jobs and more boots to put on the necks of those without jobs who might cause trouble. Once recruited, being fed propaganda is just as important as the actual military training since providing a free boot camp for insurgents is the last thing that Krayiss II needs. Once fully trained those who show skills or initiative beyond what is expected are pulled for additional specialized courses.
