Saori's workers and Matsu herself came to understand some of their ideals and while the sshapers are generally considered darkside with few not being... the Elemental Slayers were more lightside minded... with training augmented by jedi techniques to better understand and be able to control it.

Of balance to reach levels and be able to while shaping absorb and drraw power from the elements themselves to become stronger. It ins't strintly enforced

- Elemental Shaping: Highly proficient in shaper skills they use the common elements of water, fire, earth and air
- Elemental Eating: An advanced form of tutaminis specifically trained to the shapers by Matsu. Allowing them to literally draw power from elements that they use by combining art of the small and tutaminis in the case of earth so that the raw matter broken down can be vibrated to create friction and heat they convert to force energy.
- Notable Force Limitations: Generally narrowed in their focus to environmental and elemental techniques. They are trained in absorbing abilities like tutaminis and cryokinesis to channel energy and heat directed at them through their bodies and into the control of elements.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The ancient shapers are famous with some venturing out into the galaxy as mercenaries and most staying on their world where they served among themselves. A few like Morna joined Ashin in the fringe lords. Seeing how powerful they could be and how in tune with the darkside a few force users tried to adopt and use their skills without the understanding... Matsu in her own journey discovering these force users and hearing about them as she traveled and befriended a shaper who explained more of it. Hiring them as a bodyguard in her search for the first jedi temple she developed some of the skills and learned it adapting the techniques they used to more traditional force ones and recording it for ease of understanding. Then teaching the shaper himself who was with her aspects of the jedi which could allow them greater control.
The hybrid that was created from the study of it resulted in what the shaper called elemental slayers as he was and could teach others with him tutaminis allowing them to absorb and eat in a way the elemental force abilities directed towards them. THey wouldn't be the most popular as most shapers were trained in the darkside and these ones were closer to the jedi working with the lightside to achieve what they could. It opened for those who were among the kro var and not as violent or cruel a chance to study the shapers techniques. Some went to Kro Var and some went to Ahch-To and with the jedi masters jedi assembling and teaching her jedi how to fight using elemental abilities and how to defend themselves fro other shapers that might be around serving within the darkside.
The handful of years they worked with under the jedi master changed when she became the grandmaster of the silver jedi. Returning to the order and bringing a few of them with her as well as her other teams that she had developed from different forcer orders. Her elemental slayers worked with the Ta-Ree and darkside hunters to train and continue to develop their skills. Joining her on the High Plane of the Jedi itself when she brought the silver rest there with the dissolution of the concord and more of the improvements. The grandmaster fgiving them a task as they saw monsters on KRant that were twisted and corrupted by the darkside like their own people could be. The Elemental Slayers joining the different teams of her force warriors that could be sent to handle problems.
