Kuat Systems Engineering was once one of the most prominent companies, producing some of the most famous fighter craft used in the galaxy, from the Jedi to the Clones of an era long gone. However, today it has a new mission. It will be getting into the competition of Starship Components, helping to make their ships look a little better, and no longer needing to wait on anything to be shipped to them, as the company will build them in KDY territory, and be KDY-owned and patented.
Kuat Drive Yards wanted to get back into the business of also producing weapons, shields, and other Starship Components. Their new line of Ships would also need a little extra flare over generically sold armaments and components, so the old Kuat Systems Engineering was brought forth. While the old company did produce Starships, Kuat Drive Yards would take over the companies old designs as it is the primary ship builder of the entire corporation. The decision was reached once enough individuals had been hired and employees from other areas were selected for their growing expertise.
