(As a Mandalorian settlement which has migrated the stars it has picked up a collective of vagabonds from good deal of various species.)
Points of Interest: Ijaat’choruk - One of the few “memorials” on Mandalore. It is a large rock to the south of the village which has been inscribed with the Clan’s names of the dead. When a Clan Member passes to Manda in battle, their name is added to the stone.
Te Orikih Galaar - The Tiny Hawk, a tavern situated a few miles south of the village and near to Ijaat’choruk. It is the only building in the village not built into the ground and easily seen from the sky. Its a large, oblong two-story building used to house guests and travelers and serves certain brews that were common amongst clones of both the Dread Guard and Mandalorians themselves.
Ka’ra Munit’karya - A long house in the northern center of the village. It is the largest structure in the town as well as the most fortified, the structure is made of traditional Mandalorian materials on the dug-out ground floor, though underneath it are four levels of stone fortified basements. The first level is a long room with a table that could hold 50 occupants, banners are hung from wooden pillars lining the hall each is a banner of the Clan’s symbol, traditional Mandalorian symbols, or old Company Insignias from the Dread Guard and Clone Wars. The second level is more squared and cordoned into two sections: a kitchen and the clan’s ancestral armory. The third and fourth levels are divided into rooms, which serve as living quarters for the Chieftains, Venerable Elders, and their families.
Description: Kurs’taylir is a traditional Mandalorian village created in the forests of Mando’yaim. It is to serve two purposes: a place of living and economy to Clan Tal’Verda and a variable fortification. The buildings in the village are composed of traditional materials, wood and mud with various insulators. The materials camouflage the buildings and hide them from infrared sight. All of the structures are built into the ground and lined with stone or imported durasteel, this gives the structure the ability to become cover at a moment’s notice. It also makes the buildings harder to spot from the air. Family is a strong centrality in the Tal’Verda Clan and such all of the houses are large, round, and able to fit anywhere between four to eight families. Surrounding the village proper is a camouflaged durasteel palisade with entrances at each cardinal direction large enough to fit small speeders through. The village boasts a general store, two forges, a brewery- root cellar, and a communal armory added onto the personal gear of each Mandalorian.
To the east of the village, swaths of forest have been cleared in inconspicuous patterns for both commercial and subsistence farming. Further in the direction is a large fresh-water lake, which serves as the clan’s water source and an area to commit to aquatic training.
West ward is the Clan’s Vehicle Depot and landing pads, which are located nearly 4 miles away to avoid drawing suspicion to the civil settlement.
Clan Tal’Verda is currently surveying the hills to the north for mineral deposits, though some hills have already been quarried at the base to provide clay to the clan, these small mines would also serve as an emergency village should the village proper be razed.
History: Kurs’taylir is a relatively new settlement. It was recently created under the direction of Kix Tal’Verda upon his Clan’s migration to serve as a home for his people. (More will be added as roleplay in the village progresses.)
