Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Browncoat Arms | Vanir Technologies | Kaileann Vera
Model: Kurt's Courier Clothes
Affiliation: [member="Kurt Meyer"]
Modularity: Yes
Production: Unique
Material: Asheran Armorweave | VT-Kinetic Impact Gel | Duraplast | Power Armor Liner| Tarelle sei-weave | Plastiray - Substance |Verpine prototype shield
Classification: Multipurpose
Weight: 4.5kg
Quality: 8

Special Features:
Strengths:
  1. Layers of protection from materials that allow it to be lightsaber resistant, blaster resistant, blade resistant, and slug resistant.

  2. VT Impact Gel along with Power armor linger allowers for mitigation of kinetic damage.
Weaknesses:
  1. Head and joints: The areas that are free flexible may be vulnerable to lightsabers and slugs. There is no helm for this so protection depends on the verpine shield.
  2. All standard weaknesses of materials it is created from. Typical wear and tear requires eventually getting replacements.

Description:

Seeing how Kurt had a tendency of potentially getting himself into trouble, Kaile decided to go bargain thrift shop shopping and gathered bits and pieces of different armors to create an ensemble that would help keep Kurt relatively safe.

She bought a new Browncoat power armor liner and found a used Asheran armorweave jacket and pants set that would work well together. Combined with the use of VT-Kinetic Impact gel she splurged on, she added to the inside of his jacket that extra bit of protection. Buying second hand a VT Grav glove, Browncoat Datalogger, and utility belt, she sprayed them all down with plastiray to secure them from EMP damage.

Shoulders, chest, and back have small duraplast plates that are capable of offering protection up to light grenades, Verpine shatter gun rounds, medium slugs, and light laser cannon rounds. Duraplast could also be reinforced to be extremely resistant to EMP and ion cannon warfare. Duraplast also offered very strong protection against lightsabers. All the materials still have their respective weaknesses and strengths. Overloading sustained gross heat will warp and wear down the material of the powerliner, decreasing the resistance to heat or cold. Electrical charges may strike Asheran Armorweave with and extra oomph. And areas where there is only fabric and gel liner will find that energy weapons and most slicing weapons go through the gel quite easily, offering little to no protection.

Just in case, she also clipped into his belt a small Verpine Prototype Shield she stumbled across on one of her last missions. At the very least it would protect him from temperature extremes, sonic, and energy based weapons as a first line of defense; especially that hard head of his.
