• | Network Relay | The KVX 'Strix' Series Super Tactical Droid is fully integrated with the KVX 'Gnosis' Series Battle Network, and as such shares all the data it collects across all of its bodies. Each 'Strix' unit effectively acts as an information relay to the main network, extending its reach from one end of the Galaxy to the other. If one were to fall, the next unit simply activates with the previous unit's memories and data. This allows several 'Strix' units to compile data across several locations all at once, communicating with each other to continue to learn and adapt to the ever-changing theater of war. The 'Strix' unit is also able to upload its consciousness via scomp link into any system it interacts with to interface and access networks as well as assume direct control over inferior systems.
• | Tactical Advisor | The KVX 'Strix' Series ST Droid is an excellent tactical advisor when aiding an existing field commander, able to provide additional data and recommendations to supplement the commander's strategies, greatly improving the efficacy and rate at which a battle can be won. It also serves as the perfect replacement to supersede subpar on-field commanders.

• | Personality: Null | There is a distinct lack of variation and individuality built into the 'Strix' unit given its almost hive mind-like brain. As such the Strix retains its personality and memories across all of its bodies.
• | Limited Combat Functionality | Despite how the chassis is built to suggest, the Strix unit is not designed to function anywhere near as efficiently as its more dedicated battle droid counterparts since it is designed for strategic purposes.

DESCRIPTION

The KVX 'Strix' Series Super Tactical Droid is an experimental variation designed by ApexTech Industries based on the well-renowned Super Tactical Droids utilized by The Confederacy, and is as near sentient as a machine should ethically be allowed to be. Blending an advanced artificial intelligence mainframe hidden away in an undisclosed location, and a mobile chassis, the Strix has access to a vast library of strategies and tactics used throughout the Galaxy, from centuries past to present day, in an ever-expanding and ever-evolving cycle. Due to the Strix not being restricted to a single location, it is able to provide strategic battlefield intelligence across a large theater of war ranging from planetary to system-wide scopes.​

The 'Strix' has a majority of its vital hardware stored in its reinforced chassis, protected from ionic or electromagnetic threats as well as external damage. As a result, the 'Strix' is able to function despite damage to its head unit, with the only downside being its loss of its primary optic functions. While the loss of its head may constitute a lost situation, it can still perform despite sustaining damage, and in the worst case situation, has a built-in baradium core to detonate and wipe itself and anything unfortunate enough to be within its blast radius out. This prevents its body from being reverse-engineered and its communication paths traced back to the mainframe that hosts its mind.​
