STRENGTHS
Swarm: An incredibly high squadron count and high connectivity between each drone makes swarm tactics incredibly effective.
Modularity: Weapons and other systems can be easily added, replaced, and modified to change the role and effectiveness of the drone.
Tiny: The Kypseli is compact in comparison to other starfighters and droid starfighters, making it very difficult to hit and even occasionally overlooked by sensors.
Maneuverable: Kypseli drones can move side to side, up and down, and are generally incredibly mobile in atmosphere.
WEAKNESSES
Basic: The Kypseli-type has low defenses and armament. Without modification it's not very impressive.
Space: The drone's main role is an atmospheric control drone. It's less effective and maneuverable in space, though it is able to move faster to reach atmosphere more quickly.
Ion/EMP: Ion weaponry is more effective against the internal wiring of the drone.
Jamming: Communication disruption between the home ship/base can lower the effectiveness of the drones.
DESCRIPTION
For a droid-based army and navy, there sure is a lack of effective droid starfighters and drones in the CIS' military. Kelsie Sylvan submitted a request as well as a base design for a support drone for use as part of the Dauntless Legion, but it was quickly upscaled by the engineers of the CIS into a full-fledged combat drone. Kelsie's definitely gonna steal a few of these.
