[*]TotalLength: 3002
[*]NotableCharacters: Kyra Quez
[*]PortsofCall: Shogun System - Junction COMBAT INFORMATION
Strengths:
Pirate Tactics: Destroying your ship isn't the goal. The fleet is equipped with a number of ion weapons and tractor beams to pull and capture unsuspecting ships.
Boarding: The crew of Hecr Squadron were adept at boarding actions.
[*]Weaknesses:
Uncoordinated: With little uniformity in terms of speed, design, or even ammunition types in some cases, supplying and moving the small pirate fleet was difficult as they had to move as fast as their slowest ship. Parts for some of the older ships were also hard to come by.
Capital Ship Warfare: With their biggest and most powerful ship being several decades old, any real military force could easily pummel the pirate band
Home Base: It was rare to see the entire fleet in one place at once outside of major battles. Small raids and other errands kept the ships separated quite often.
Description: Hecry Squadron was a loose group of Weequay and Mandalorian pirates under the leadership of Kyra Quez. Established during the Pirate Wars, the group loosely kept in contact over the years as new members came and went. Some time after Kyra took her position as Captain again, the pirate crew joined Te Veman as one of their main supporting fleets. Named for Kyra's old Resource War nickname, Hecry Squadron generally handled errands and small pirate raids for Te Veman as they were generally an unknown quantity in the Galaxy and their connection to the Mandalorian terrorist rebels was a well kept secret. A combination of Weequay and Mandalorian ships filled out the fleet with a single Quasar acting as the fleet's main carrier. With her connections in the underworld, Kyra was able to utilize her pirates to hijack treasury ships, intercept MandalMotors shipments, smuggle goods in and out of the Shogun system.
