SPECIAL FEATURES

• The L3-000 series of droid was created to "evolve" on the surfaces of planets unrecorded by greater sentient society. Its internal processing makes it a sponge for information and elaborate details. The inner-mechanisms of the droid operate to maintain and sustain lessons and information, including visual, audio and contexual data. The purpose of the unit is to relay learned data to the owner for the purpose of research.
• The L3-000 droid also holds a number of components that enhance its visual processing to an extraordinary degree. Through a combination of functions and measuremants calculated internally, the droid can spot and evaluate "targets" from vast distances.

STRENGTHS

• The L3-000 droid series is built for analyzing objects and creatures from vast distances with little to no margin of error. It can also theoretically measure and understand wind changes, terrain vantages and bullet drop measures for long-ranged weapon use.
• Its artifical intelligence is nigh indistinguishable from the sentience of intelligent living organisms. It comes to conclusions and learns lessons, and it can form habits, addictions, develop flaws, discover talents or feel love. This "personality" is produced by a series of internal working parts interacting with one another to "inspire" thought.

WEAKNESSES

• The L3-000 droid suffers from the mental flaws of sentient organisms. It can develop psychological issues and experience conflicts of interest and philosophies. It can choose not to follow directives and it can be influenced by hostile entities with enough persuasion.
• The droid is made to land on a remote planet and lay dormant in one spot - collecting data while it remains hidden in place. The droid's body is easily susceptible to most forms of damage, making it somewhat fragile.

DESCRIPTION
The L3-000 droid series was created for recon on undocumented planets and terrain hostile for organic life. The model's creator, Dr. Thorne, idealized a working "brain" for a robot body that could absorb information with great efficiency. Dr. Thorne wanted his creation to realize its place in the universe - to have the epiphany every living thing has. Conciousness; of their place in the grand performance called life.

Dr. Thorne wanted this "robot" to absorb cultures and understand the complexities of its own socialization. It was an anthropologic experiment at heart, but the product eventually imploded due to its rapid understanding of its own existence. The limited supply of L3-000 models absconded from their forgotten hangar bays and their impossible missions on desolate planets, and began carving their own paths towards the future.

Very cute droid! However the current Lifeform scanner is anti-stealth technology, therefore these sub can be only Unique or Semi-Unique. If you want to keep the limited scale, I recommend to use this version.
