Free Thinker
[x] Now Playing - Looking for Tracy Tzu
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Leeroy is physically underwhelming in comparison to most droids. His limbs are thin and built for ease of mobility - his shoulders are reinforced with a thin exo-skeletal frame fitted around the collar, which was invented for holding heavier objects than his capable mass. While Leeroy generally only wears a brown cloak over his ironclad body, he is seen in a variety of other outfits which are purposefully tacky. [OOC - "Think of Adam Sandler's casual attire. That's Leeroy's favourite kind of outfit."]
INVENTORY
"THE FINAL WORD" - "The Final Word" is a 773 Firepuncher Rifle modified with a laser sight that estimates the richochet travel of each plasma bolt. Leeroy uses this feature in addition to the Firepuncher Rifle's reflective properties to pull off miraculous shots.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Leeroy embodies the concept of a "free spirit". Ever since his inception, he sought out to discover himself in the most diverse ways possible. He throws himself into new experiences with reckless abandon, and he approaches other people with a capriciously cheerful attitude. This excitement in his character can sometimes be seen as nihilism, as Leeroy has no qualms with killing people or committing morally dubious acts to satisfy his own curiosity.
As his child-like curiosity has been tampered with by the ruthlessness of the universe, his morality is constantly being put into question. Leeroy embraces these tests of his character however, as he believes it brings him closer to becoming "real".
STRENGTHS
WEAKNESSES
HISTORY
L3-R01, or "Leeroy", was a reconissance droid created by Dr. Thorne - a scientist who conducts his business under the watchful eye of a mysterious organization. He developed the "sentience" software in the L3-000 series of droids in order to replicate organic patterns of learning and comprehension. Dr. Thorne wanted to make a robot that could truly understand, invent things.... He wanted it to 'be'. Nobody could replicate the insatiable curiosity and capacity for ingenuity all sentient intelligent beings shared - until L3-R01 was finally born.
His purpose was simply to be deposited on undocumented worlds. He was to absorb data on their terrain, their fauna and flora, and any potential cultures that persisted on these worlds... But once Leeroy's mind was finally activated, and he felt the indescribable light of "gnosis" in his artifical mind's eye, he ran. He ran as fast as he could.
Leeroy currently lives a life on the run from multiple different factions and organizations for his mindless crimes and general instability. Despite his wild actions, it truly all is in an effort to understand the universe around him. Leeroy wants to "be real" - but his standard for realization grows vaguer everyday....

STRENGTHS
- Leeroy is a capable marksman, and regularly performs miraculous long-shots.
- His internal processing makes his "artificial" intelligence nigh indistinguishable from a living sentient being.
WEAKNESSES
- Leeroy is childish. Since he lacked the socialization other "sentient" beings recieve, his approach to life is still in an infantile stage of understanding. He lacks maturity, and his capacity for violence is a symptom of his ignorance, and his lack of self control.
- His body is surprisingly fragile, unlike most droids. His design is not built for combat, which can leave Leeroy vulnerable to fatal attacks.
