Intent: To create an elite droid that is to be deployed as a unit commander for an elite squadron of droid units
Development Thread: Will Create
Manufacturer: Haor Chall, Baktoid Industries, Czerka Corp, BlasTech
Model: L3G10N
Affiliation: Confederacy of Independent Systems
Modularity: Yes (Weapons/Misc)
Production: Minor
Material: Cortosis-weave Armorplast, Agrinium

Description: After the conflict with Subach-Innes, the necessity of an advanced droid unit became apparent to the members of the Techno Union. The L3G10N program was pushed forward to make an advanced droid control combat platform as the centerpiece for an elite squadron of combat droids. The L3G10N unit is the leader of a group of 12 units, including the command. Using an advanced combat computing system, which includes an intricate systems of antennae and transceivers, the L3G10N is able to command all 12 bodies within its squadron, working from the 12 different data streams of information. Additionally, this system allows for commands to be sent to each unit from the command unit flawlessly. Standard droid units will be retrofitted and aligned with the L3G10N's unique signature.

The L3G10N droid is created from a Cortosis-weave Armorplast, which will sustain it against most lightsaber and blaster shots. Internal systems are covered in an agrinium mesh to protect against electromagnetic, electro proton, and ion attacks. Its body was created around a central power core with power cables extended through its body in an effort to absorb forms of electrical combat, including Force lightning. This system will power up the internal core, but if too much energy is taken, it will overload the unit, causing the L3G10N to shut down.

Designed as a bipedal combat unit, the L3G10N unit is able to be armed with all manner of Baktoid and Czerka offerings depending on the mission parameters that are going to be needed.
Classification: Fourth Degree
Weight: (Via Metric System) 300 kg
Height: (Via Metric System) 2.5 meters
Movement: Bipedal
Armaments: Unit is able to be armed with a variety of weapons, primarily working with BlasTech and Czerka weaponry.
Misc. Equipment: In an internal compartment around the waist of the unit, is stored 50 meters of high tension cable that can be used to tie down targets, or be used with a grappling hook for ascending buildings. In the left forearm is a retractable arc welder, while in the mirroring compartment is a space for either a flamethrower, stun cannon or wrist rocket launcher.

Lets start from the top
  • You can't have two lightsaber resistant materials put into one submission.
  • Third degree is for SOCIAL droids, while Fourth degree is for Guards and battle droids.
  • FOr the cords that absorb lightning and such, It would have to be extremely good at doing that. you will have to lower that and say something along the lines of "But can overheat if too much is pushed through the system" or do a dev thread in making that internal system that good. Because that takes away the No.1 weakness for droids.
  • Weight would be around 250kgs or more depending on the size and the armament.
This is just my opinion on what to fix really so take my words worth a grain of salt.

I'm not so sure about your points on electricity, given how simple it would be to have wires made of insulators. He could very feasibly devise something to prevent its flow without resorting to something that might overheat, given that a piece of glass has nearly the same result.

@[member="Boone"] if it was just simply dissipating the energy from these sort of attacks, then yes I would be fine, but because of it absorbing it and converting it into its own power, you need something more than just a simple paragraph on it. Hence why it could over heat. if to much power is sent into a converted, it can get hot and possibly explode.

Take for instance a laptop charger. Its also called a converter because it take from a simple 12 wat plungin and converts it to 110 or even a 220 amount of power. hence why your charger cord gets hot. The same thing would happen here, only in a much more extreme case because of the amount of power a simple force shock can hold.

Then all he needs to do is not convert it. Simplest solution.

A lot of the forcies would probably call power gaming anyway.

Or, given the level of tech in the Star Wars verse it'd probably be plausible that he could do what he described.

Cortosis-weave Armorplast is a better material overall for the armor and frame. This is due to the fact that Armorplast can reflect blaster bolts, has the same durability as Durasteel, and is lighter due to being ceramic. Plus, with Cortosis woven in, it can take a lightsaber like a champ.

Agrnium mesh underneath the plating and especially about the droid brain. This grants it some protection against Electromagnetic, Electro-proton, and Ion weaponry as it operates on the principle of a Faraday Cage.

(Make the materials Cortosis-weave Armorplast and Agrinium)

As per our discussions on Skype, this bad boy is essentially a droid control ship; but minimized. As such, the means by which it will control/command the droids in its unit are an intricate system of antennae and transceivers which project orders into the droid brains itself. This'll also allow signals to be sent back; thereby sharing vision, data, etc.

Add Blas-Tech to the manufacturer, Josh is a homie and would love his weapons to be added to this bad boy.

Move the 50 meters of cord/grappling hook to its waist. Make it a compartment almost like a utility belt. Put the Arc Welder on the left arm and make it so that models have to choose between a Flamethrower, a Stun Cannon, or a Wrist Rocket Launcher.

Modularity should be Yes (Weapons/Misc. Equipment)

And I think, with those changes, we've got ourselves project L3G10N.
