- Mono-Molecular Edge - Treated with Svolten Rhyolite, the edge can retain its integrity and cutting power even after undergoing hard impacts with the blade of a lightsaber or with especially dense materials.
- Poison Reservoir - Each of the La-Ley Blades has a poison reservoir that is compatible with a range of different poisons, treating the blade with the poison inside the reservoir. However, only one poison type can be deployed in the reservoir of a blade at a time. Naturally, the reservoir can be left empty as well, should the wielder choose it.
- Devaronian Blood-Poison - Devaronian Blood-Poison has the potential to cause extreme, potentially debilitating pain upon making contact with a victim’s flesh with even a glancing hit.
- Senflax - Senflax has the potential to induce paralysis or numbing effects in a victim’s body. It can also compromise a person’s focus, possibly disrupting their ability to harness the Force.
- Blood Boiler - Arguably the most gruesome of the compatible poisons, when introduced into a victim’s bloodstream Blood Boiler has the potential to turn their blood into acid, possibly inflicting excruciating pain and even causing a victim’s body to eat itself from the inside out.
- Sith Poison - Most often utilized against Jedi and Light-aligned warriors, Sith Poison has the potential to amplify the rage felt by a victim by triggering a chain of chemical reactions that diminishes their ability to resist the Dark Side.
- Mgehye ot Lloig | Ruiner of Mind - Mgehye ot Lloig has the potential to inflict a wide range of effects on a victim, the most prominent of which might include vivid, terrifying hallucinations and weakened willpower.
- Trapped Grip - Allows only Hanna and anyone that she permits to activate and wield the weapons. The hilt will discharge a potent electrical energy field in the event that they are handled by an unauthorized agent, with the potential to cause severe burn injuries to the victim.
- Resilient Construction - Owing to their resilient construction, each La-Ley Blade is extremely resistant to lightsabers, vibroblades, and energy weapons.
- Repulsorlift Engine - Each La-Ley Blade has a miniaturized repulsorlift engine capable of independent hovering and flight at typical speeds of 400 m/s, with a maximum speed of 850 m/s. The swords can be remotely controlled by the wielder via a bio-hexacrypted, wireless connection, allowing them to be directed by neural command and/or the wearer’s movements.
- Remote Neural Link - The La-Ley Blades can be remotely controlled by Hanna, allowing her to activate and deactivate their systems via thought.
- Ultrasonic Vibration Generator - A high-grade vibration generator, the ultrasonic vibration generator causes the blade to vibrate with extreme speed and force, giving each La-Ley Blade the ability to tear through flesh, hard organic carapace, stone, armor plating, titanium, and many other materials. In addition, the blades have the potential to inflict devastating, eviscerating wounds and possibly even dismember, with only a touch.
- Sound Dampening System - The La-Ley Blades have integrated sound dampers that render the weapons completely silent, making them ideal for stealth.
- Gyroscopic Stabilizer - Each La-Ley Blade has an integrated gyroscopic stabilizer, which improves the stability of the weapon in flight, ensuring that the blade stays aligned with the target.
- Aerial Assault - The La-Ley Blades are not only deadly up close, but also at range. Their repulsorlift engines are capable of independent flight and their frames are balanced to optimize aerodynamics.
- Stealth Missile - The Skuggalegt coating makes the La-Ley Blades extremely difficult to detect and lock onto via threat detection systems, sensors, targeting systems, and/or scanners. The integrated sound dampers also make the weapons completely silent.
- Void Stone - The synthetic Void Stone integrated into each of the La-Ley Blades makes the swords extremely difficult to detect or counter via the Force. However, since only a minute amount of the material was incorporated into the weapons, its effects are largely negligible in disrupting a Force-sensitive individual's overall connection to the Force. The radius of Force disruption is only just wide enough to cover each blade, thereby protecting them from the Force.
- Poison Edge - Each La-Ley Blade has a poison system that treats the edge with a given poison inside the reservoir. These poisons have the potential to inflict a host of deadly effects, possibly compromising a victim’s ability to fight, in the process.
- Rip and Tear - The La-Ley Blades can cut through most materials, including concrete, titanium, and tough armor plating.
- Energy Shields - Energy shields which can deflect physical projectiles will also be capable of blocking a strike from the La-Ley Blades.
- Overload - Depending on the vicinity and power quotient, EMP and Ionite discharges could overload the La-Ley Blades’ electronic components, disabling their repulsorlift engines and preventing the weapons from being remotely controlled by their wielder.
- No Fly Zone - Repulsorlift jammers are one of the most effective counters to the flight capabilities of the La-Ley Blades. They can negate the repulsor fields generated by the engine and subsequently slow down or even ground the weapon to varying degrees of effectiveness depending on a number of factors pertaining to the repulsorlift jammer in question, including power quotient, distance, intensity, and yet more.
- Concealability - While typically wielded with one hand, the La-Ley Blades are physical weapons that can not be readily concealed on a person in the same manner as a lightsaber.
Named after the La-Ley style of dance, the La-Ley Blades are aerial swords that can be controlled through dancing (or alternatively, simple movements). With their integrated repulsorlift engines, the swords can fly under their own power, while being guided by their wielder from a distance. It goes without saying that they can also be used in a more conventional fashion, as well.
The La-Ley Blades were commissioned by Hanna to use in the style of a blade dancer, drawing on both her ballet and combat training to make her a more capable assassin. In this regard, the La-Ley Blades are well-suited for assassination, due to their stealth systems and integrated poison reservoirs. All in all, the weapons give Hanna a more dynamic, unpredictable fighting style, allowing her to be deadly both up close and afar.
