- Advanced Sensor Suite: In addition to the standard sensor package that allows starships to detect, locate, and lock onto incoming missiles, debris, and other starships, this starship is equipped with three additional sensors/scanners: the Lifeform Scanner, ID Scanner, and Courier Communications Scanner. All of these sensors and scanners relay visual feedback via a HUD on the Ceraglass cockpit of the customized LAAT/Ie.
- Droid Brain: Unlike the standard LAAT/Ie, the Edee has sacrificed some of the space used to traditionally carry infantry and cargo in order to house a Droid Brain. This droid brain can be remotely activated, allowing the LAAT/Ie to operate even without an organic pilot and gunners. The Droid Brain can be partially activated to allow the Droid Brain to control any number of onboard systems.
- SLAM: The LAAT/Ie has been equipped with a SubLight Acceleration Motor (SLAM) which, when activated, doubles the sublight engine thruster output on the LAAT/Ie at the expense of significantly decreased performance from the light laser cannons.
- Armored: This LAAT/Ie has been equipped with additional layers of Duralloy armor as well as Ceraglass allowing the Edee to take significantly more direct damage than it's counterparts without this upgrade.
- Gunship: The LAAT/Ie comes standardly equipped with two Concussion Missile launchers, two light laser cannons on ball turrets the front of the starship, and a light laser cannon at the aft.
- Droid: The Edee has sacrificed some of the space in the hull to integrate a Droid Brain allowing the Edee to act autonomously or semi-autonomously.
- SLAM: The Edee has been outfitted with a SubLight Accelerator Motor (SLAM) allowing the Edee to make a quick engagement or disengagement at the expense of drawing away most of the power from the trio of light laser cannons.

- Ion Warfare: While the Edee is an impressive upgrade from standard LAAT/Ie gunships, it maintains a weakness to powerful Ion Weaponry such as Ion Disruptors.
- Blind Spots: The weapon mounts cannot target entities or objects that are directly to the Left or Right of the Edee; the targets must be below the starship in some regard in order for it to be targeted in these zones. Additionally the top of the craft is a blindspot to the weapon systems.
Doroko Bral is currently a Sector Ranger for the Galactic Alliance and as such often faces many challenges in his assignments. In order to better equip himself for dangerous solo missions he has upgraded the complimentary LAAT/Ie Gunship with additional armor plating, reinforced starship-grade armored glass, a boost to speed via SLAM, and last but not least - a droid brain. These upgrades allow the Edee to brush off most forms of small arms fire and even last a few hits from starship mounted Turbolasers while the shields are down. The droid brain enables the Edee to be remotely activated and take over entire or partial system operation. In addition to these physical enhancements, the Edee sensor and communication capability has been increased with the addition of Lifeform Scanner, ID Scanner, and Courier Communications Scanner packages. There is also Magnetic Lock points within the troop bay of the LAAT/Ie that enable it to carry up to a single speeder or equip pintle-mounted weapons to fire out of the blastdoors.
