• Blackwing Crystal: When installed into a lightsaber, it produces a dark, smokey ash blade.
• BCIP: This allows for the lightsaber to be activated and used whilst underwater.
• Modified Activation Slide Switch: The activation stud, in this case, is actually a slide switch; and is hidden plush against the activation plate itself. The modification to the activation slide allows the blade to draw forth quicker than traditional blades.
• Modified Blade Emitter: The modification to the emitter grants the plasma of the blade to run hotter than other lightsabers, adding to the blade's cutting power. With an enhanced plasma-blade, it can burn through most materials quickly, as well as handle cortois without completely shorting out.
• Disrupting Emitter: The lightsaber's disrupting emitter can affect the nervous systems of most species by interrupting the sensory information that is transmitted through the varies parts of the body.
• Discharge Energy Cell: The energy cell provides more energy output from the lightsaber, which it allows for the deliverance of more powerful strikes and attacks.
• Dragite Lens: The dragite lens strengthened the plasma beam, giving it a more increased amount of damage that it can inflict.

• Blade Dominance: The plasma blade, with the dragite lens, discharged energy cell, and the modified blade emitter, adds increased cutting power and more powerful attacks and strikes.
• Sensory Deprivation: With the addition of the disrupting emitter, the weapon can affect the nervous system of most species, which can allow for, but is not limited to, dizziness, the inability to focus, unequal states of the equilibrium, declined motor skills.
• Reaction Time: The blade can be ignited or extinguished quicker than most lightsabers due to the modified activation slide switch, giving her a potential slight advantage of her opponents.

• Overload: Because the blade runs hotter than most traditional lightsabers, it risks the blade to potentially overheat, drastically lowering its cutting power, or in worse case scenarios causes the blade to flicker in and out.
• Fragile: Because the Blackwing crystal is generated unnaturally because of exposure to the Blackwing Virus, they are more fragile than most crystals and can shatter more easily.

The earlier part of her life, after the passing of her Mentor and her decision to leave her home on Felucia, she carried the lightsaber of her deceased Mentor as a homage to him and his teachings. The weapon has served her well in the times she needed it, but as much as she cherished the weapon, the time has come to finally create her own.

One of the lessons her Mentor has taught her was the fabrication of the lightsaber, and since they only had the one, he taught her by breaking his down; subsequently reconstructing it. So, she collected more updated components, as well as a Blackwing Crystal on Dathomir. Combining the newly acquired components with the functional ones from her Mentor's lightsaber, she constructed her own. After meditating for a few hours, she focused the crystal to herself, and gently placed it in the hilt; thus, completing the construction process.
