The male human known as Laevus is an enigmatic and secretive figure from the Deep Core world of Epoch. An experienced explorer of the Unknown Regions, few planets host his presence long before moving on to the next in search of arcane lore and lost histories. Coveting secrets and jealously guarding them, Laevus meets with few in person, bringing supposedly dire omens to those unlucky enough to capture his attention. Intelligent, wise, charismatic, and equally sinister. Laevus has shown to be narcissistic, cruel, arrogant, and prone to rash acts of anger. If his plans become unsalvageable the Elder will give in to his hatred and act irrationally. Great acts of violence and torture on friend or foe in order to sate his lust for inflicting pain, regardless of the blame.

Despite his cunning, and powerful connection to the Dark Side of the Force. Laevus still felt fear. He feared death, and the Chaos he would be powerless to escape no matter what arcane achievements he made. Most of all he feared failing to become the force of change he once desired to be in his youth. A change that would bring order and strength to a galaxy crying out for it. He embodies the Dark Side, embraces it in full and has been corrupted totally inside and out in turn. Laevus finds pleasure in twisting life to his own designs and perverting the natural order to fulfill his agenda.

Ever the metamorphosist, Laevus has molded his own body in search of achieving a physical and spiritual perverted nirvana. His pursuit of immortality withstanding, he bares scars extended across his person from shoulder to shoulder from his experience in the Vong's Embrace of Pain. This pain has not eroded, nor lessened and serves as both a boon to augment his hatred and detriment to his already fading body. Alas, the age and twisting of his form is not all from his design, the Dark Side of the Force has wracked his body and left him frail. A lesson for those who seek power, it has it's price.

Due to his frail, failing body, Laevus is not the capable warrior he once was. He relies on his abilities in the Force and connection to the Dark Side heavily to lash out at opponents.​

BIOGRAPHY:

The specifics on the origin of the Force-Sensitive human known as Laevus are unclear. What is rumored, is that the Elder was born on the paradise world of Epoch in the Deep Core. Speculations persist that this individual was born from one of the noble houses, and was kept from public view due to the nature of his force-sensitivity like many others of his homeworld due to the political and cultural climate. This explains the fascination the Elder has over the Epochian homeworld and it's contents. Although with no name or birth records, it's hard to pin down whether this is fact or fiction.

Laevus has an extensive knowledge of the Jedi Order and it's structure. From the tidbits he's shared, it wouldn't be far stretched to assume he was brought into the order at a young age. This is a hypothesis of course. The razing of Ossus at the hands of the Sith Empire, and subsequent conquest of Coruscant at the hands of it's successor, the One Sith, resulted in the loss of countless records. What we do know is that this elusive figure has seen the rise and fall of the One Sith, the onslaught of the Primeval, the emergence of the Kwa Princess, and the Netherworld Crisis. In some way shape or form, he was even present on Ession during the Reformation.

The cause of this figure's descent into the Dark Side of the Force is unclear. Like most it could of been seductive call of power, freedom, or simply a lust for violence. Regardless, reports show that the Elder delved into the secrets of sith space for years. Wandering the Unknown Regions for years if not decades, random sightings of this lone figure into known space and reports of his various activities has his actions left in question.
