Name: Laiana Elessia
Age: 822 (appears to be around 65-70)
Race: Traynuthh (Naemara)
Gender: Yorhakii
Homeworld: Talasea
Height: 6’2
Weight: 153lb
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Aged Grey (Black naturally)
Force Sensitive: Yes

Strengths
Long Lived - Laiana had lived an extremely long time for her race, a feat that is rare among her species due to her being a Jedi, much like her master and fellow force users of the race before her. This long life had helped her quite a bit in learning much about the world.

Strong Mind - It is hard to really crack Laiana’s mind due to her intelligence, and meditation, as well as her strong connection to the force after all these years. She also contains a rather good memory of things that had been witnessed by her in her lifetime.

Gifted Talent - From a young age to even now, Laiana has a talent that many Jedi of old had praised to high regards. Being rather a fast learner, brave adventurer, and a survivalist, Laiana had faced many trials of her Jedi career, and along her path of becoming a true Jedi Knight, impressing many.

Weaknesses
Old Age - Though wise, and powerful in the force, Laiana is still a living, breathing carbon based being of the force, and as a result, old age has crippled her fighting, not being as strong as she was in her prime, not being super able to do the fancy acrobatic flips and be as fast nor as strong as she was as a younger girl. Since she isn't fond of fighting, this contributes in this factor as well.

Meditation Trauma - Meditation had hampered with Laiana’s mind, perceiving the galaxy in a different life than most, as well as having PTSD from the Clone Wars so long ago. Forgetting sometimes that old ways had changed, Laiana sometimes has hard times keeping up, and will commit an act that would be rather questionable, believing that her judgement is the right one. Her clouded judgment as a result from her long meditation can have her make rash decisions sometimes.

Stubborn - Laiana is loyal to the old Jedi Code of the Republic during the Clone Wars, and will stand by its principles. Even if she had a few changes to the code in her mind, she will still abide by that conservatism no matter what, and keep the age old philosophy alive.

Appearance

An old 6’2 Naemara Traynuthh, Laiana has light skin and aging grey hairs. Her horns are curved much like her ethnicity of her species is like, though a noticeable difference is her chipped horn on the left side of her head, which has the whole tip cut off, only leaving just half of it left. This happened during a lightsaber duel that occurred during the Age of the First Galactic Empire. She wears long Jedi Robes, and is usually hooded most of the time she appears. Her hair is long, and silky, much like her smooth skin. Her body is curvy, even though she is old, and maintains it quite well, though wrinkles do appear along her face to indicate her age, and parts of her body, though not as prevalent.

Biography

Laiana was born 36 years before the Battle of Yavin, well before the years of the current setting. Taken in by the Jedi, she was trained from a young age by the Jedi, namely by the teachings of Grandmaster Yoda. Laiana would later be placed under the Traynuthh Master, Naerada Tamila, who was from the same home world as she was, and was the same race.

As a young apprentice under her master, Laiana was an extremely talented and gifted youth. Every day, she would study within the Jedi Temple, reading books about the various histories and teachings of the galaxy, and trained her lightsaber combat with her master every single day. She was said to be extremely patient, studious, polite and was a rather quick learner, making her rather esteemed in the Jedi Order. It was thanks to this talent that she was rather well liked by her peers, especially by a fellow Jedi by the name of Malik al-Tanser, a human male from the Mid Rim world known as Sassanid, and his master, Quomal al-Asyun who is from the same planet as well.

The outbreak of the Clone War, saw Laiana being sent on various assignments by the council together with her master, and participated in mostly diplomatic work, due to Laiana’s trainng as a Jedi Diplomat, as opposed to her master’s Jedi Guardian path. Regardless, the two would become engaged in various battles across the galaxy. One of the more interesting situations, is when she, together with Jedi Masters Obi-wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Quomal al-Asyun and her own master were captured by a neutral star system’s world and were imprisoned together with a High Ranking Sepratist female commander, and Tofin Vain, a high ranking sepratist pilot, who was related to her species. It was due to her and Obi-Wan Kenobi’s diplomatic skills that they overcame their differences there, and assisted the system’s threat that was sort of a coming wild doom to the people there. The feats that the young padawan took to assist her fellow Jedi and temporary truce that was formed between the Separatists was renowned and commended.

Through this, and many other heroic feats during the Clone Wars, Laiana was granted Knighthood, due to passing the trials that were laid before her. Later on, Laiana would participate in the Battle of Talasea alongside Clone Commander Clet. During the conflict, she would meet with the Queen initially to come to terms with peace talks and preventing a war, due to Talasea being namely located in a very important Republic space. Unfortunately, the plan did not go through, and she was forced to help take the Queen away and hide her safely with rebels who were still loyal to the Republic.

Following the battle, she was assigned to the world of Sassanid with Commander Clet, where she would find some very discreet information during the fighting about a contingency order that almost went through on Talasea, which was Order 37, but was luckily prevented from said battle. But she would eventually learn of Order 66, but was not able to tell the rest of the Jedi, due to their position being compromised, and heavy fighting taking place. About a few months into the battle, Order 66 was initiated, but by that time, Commander Clet had his inhibitor chip removed under her order, as well as the few troopers that were hidden with her during the battle. Despite this, most of the troopers, including Clet were killed to ensure their Jedi comrade fled to safety. Witnessing first hand her master being killed, this horrified the maturing Jedi, scarring her with great deals of pain.

After escaping and evading Order 66, Laiana would flee to a planet that was located extremely isolated from the rest of the Galaxy in the Unknown Regions, next to a nexus where would hide her presence from being discovered. Only once she had been discovered, and that was by a now Inquisitor Malik arrived to find her out of his own spite to tie up a loose end. However, in the end, he ended up being defeated by her, even if it costed her a horn. Since, she has not seen any visitors nor been bothered.
For the next several hundred years, Laiana would remain there, and meditate on said planet, which was strongly attuned to the force. Laiana would occasionally make a few resurgences, namely when the Yuuzhong Vong invaded the Galaxy, aiding and assisting the Galactic Alliance. However, she would return back to said planet after the conflict was over, and continue to meditate.

Years passed, and Laiana would grow old. Being visited by many force spirits, including her old mentor, Laiana would become extremely powerful in the force, eventually passing her trials of becoming a Jedi Master. Her hermitry helped her learn a great deal of knowledge, though, now she is an aging old woman, who had decided to take the exploration of the galaxy, and had noticed it is now an extremely different place than it was once before. She felt she had surely outlived most of her brethren, and believes that it was due to meditation that her body is still alive. Laiana feels that now it is time to pass down knowledge that she had learned to another, or perhaps rejoin the Jedi orders that are emerging. Anything is now up in the air for this aging woman, but time seems to be against her.
