Lament of the Sun

Lireesa was the eldest of them all; the one with the golden mane. She was the sun of their family. All of the Tarkis daughters were beautiful but it was Lireesa who had a gaze that could steal hearts. Her return to Isobe was much warranted, and however well her story started, she returned in a state of lament. Lineages could be complicated, and so could sisters, but there was a since of transparency the sisters maintained even now.

Lireesa had been gone this entire time, married off to the future Emperor. Thustra had been the jewel' home since then...

"I mourn with you sister..." Tyrande would comfort the women, trying to imagine what it would feel like to lose a husband. However much the Sephi tried to resonate, Lireesa would brush it off.

"He isn't the center of my heartbreak. He was naive and unfit to rule...it was because of him that the Mandalorian war machine were able to secure our system. I however...mourn the lost of my future. I was pregnant but lost the child and any such heir to the throne. I later discovered that my body isn't fit for the birth of children."

Of course Tyrande would be the first one there. She had no vision for the future, no drive. Naturally she was always going to be right there. Tylane, though, had plans for the future, had the future of her people in mind. Someone had to. Lireesa was the future of their people. Well, she was supposed to be. Tyl and Tyr were supposed to be the ones orchestrating what it became. But now that wasn't going to happen.

In walked Tylane, and she swept right over to their older sister, completely ignoring Tyrande for the moment. The two were still at odds after the last time they saw each other. She moved over to Lir, and knelt down at her side, reaching to take her hand, and forcibly taking it when Lir tried to brush her away. She was having none of that.

"I'm so sorry, Lir," she said, looking her big sister in the eyes. "I heard what you said as I walked in. I'm sorry for both losses but you know I never liked him. I always said he wasn't good enough for you or for us. You are better off without him, as is the Empire. But I'm sorry you lost the baby, and I'm sorry you can never have them."

She stood then, releasing her sisters hand and drawing a step back.

"There is still much you can do. I know it won't cure the pain of not having your own, but you can remarry and adopt. Father will let you do that. Just promise you won't wallow. I know how you get sometimes."
