Description: The Lancer Mark III was the brainchild of Noah Corek in light of the need to produce a weapon capable of combating the Graug Horde. The project started with the Lancer Mark I,basically it was a copy of the OPR-2 Blaster Rifle,the some different externals features and a thicker and longer bayonet,but the bayonet snapped when tested. But even after this failure Corek was not ready to quit the project. The Lancer Mark II was never really a full weapon,it was a underbarrel attachment that was meant to be attached to any weapon system with a underbarrel rail system. This as well was a failure because the weight of the attachment and weapon proved to heavy to be lugged around in combat. The final product was named the Lancer Mark III,it turned out to be quite effective. Noah took the stopping power from the Mark I and combined it with the chainsaw of the Mark II and created the perfect Graug killing weapon. The weapon took the power of the Mark I,but do to this it has a low capacity compared to other blaster rifles,but it has great range. The weapon took the chainsaw idea from the Mark II and this time made it integral,producing a great CQC weapon,but at the cost of weight.
