Unlike most who saw Basilisk war droids as mere tools of devastation, Laphisto came to view his as a companion rather than just a machine. Where others would command it like an extension of their arsenal, he spoke to it, treated it as a war beast rather than a droid, and even found himself recognizing quirks in its behavior—the way it moved with subtle anticipation, the hesitation before launching into battle, or the way it lingered at his side when the fight was over, awaiting his next move.
