- Power setting, beam amount setting w HUD tracking system
- Easy to use:The LBR is simple to operate and has several useful features, including a scaled power setting from Low (stun), to High (Disrupt) which is divided into 4 levels. As well as a beam multi fire control, which allows the operator to fire at multiple targets at once automatically tracking them as long as they are within the operators field of vision.
Versatile: Due to its power setting beam splitter and uses for both lethal and non lethal purposes its great for security purposes and military purposes.
- Heavy:imagine carrying those ham radio packs from vietnam movies and a portable radio on your chest them imagine carrying a fully loaded bar gun, its one hell of a workout and all in all requires someone in in top form within the military or law enforcement
Overheats regularly: don't expect to hold down the trigger like your a cod rambo this thing will overheat like crazy and its best to learn fire discipline because when this overheats it renders the gun inoperable.
Level 1: Stun: Setting will incapacitate most humanoid life forms for 1 hour and resistant bioforms for at least 15 minutes
Level 2: Thermal Effect: humanoids experience extensive epidermal trauma. Structural materials exhibit visible thermal shock. Discharges of longer than five seconds produce deep heat storage effects within metal alloys
Level 3: Disruption Effect: Both organic and structural materiel suffer severe molecular damage effects
Level 4: Disruption Effect: Organic tissue damage causes immediate cessation of life processes, since disruption effect becomes widespread. All unprotected matter is affected and penetrated to a depth dependent on length of time exposed to beam.
In addition to power settings, the LBR has a beam multi fire control, which allows the operator to fire at multiple targets at once automatically tracking them as long as they are within the operators field of vision
Tracking system
When powered up, the gun begins tracking targets via the infrared detector mounted directly above the barrel. This scanner consists of a 256×256 focal array, cooled to -196.15°C by a miniature cryogenic gas cooler. The system monitors a 30° cone in front of the gun. The tracking system also transmits thermal images to a miniature video display in the operator's eyepiece. If a target is detected, the tracker will overlay a lighted box or rectangle over the target's center mass on this display, highlighting it for the operator's attention. At the same time and once it has acquired a lock the operator will be informed by a target lock circle that illuminates on the display screen.
In the event that the operator wishes to engage multiple opponents other than the one currently locked on to, they can simply steer the gun manually between their preferred targets at center mass and the system will acquire a fresh lock.
