STRENGTHS
Last Whisper: True to the name, the built in sound suppressor makes each shot from the Last Whisper as quiet as a whisper, allowing the user to operate undetected in the right situations. This is further aided by the specially refined TibannaX gas cell that causes the bolt to become invisible to the naked eye.
Construction: In addition to the above, it’s construction from polycarbonate with nightshadow coating further allows it to remain undetected from most security scans. The weapon itself is designed to be easily disassembled (or reassembled) at a moments notice, allowing the user to smuggle it in pieces or even simply break down and discard the evidence.
WEAKNESSES
Not So Invisible: The blaster is invisible to the naked eye, but not specialized equipment. Nor is it invisible to certain species with advanced vision capabilities, such as Barabels, Rodians or Ssi-Ruuk to name but a few.
Not So Undetectable: The Nightshadow coating allows it to slip through passive and cursory military grade sensor checks, but focused or intensive scans will pick this weapon up. To say nothing about a simple pat down. In addition, quick successive shots cause the device to heat up, which in turn can make it easier to detect on certain types of the aforementioned scans.
DESCRIPTION
Perhaps surprising to some, the Last Whisper is the first blaster pistol line to be manufactured by Tricks of the Trade. What isn’t surprising on the other hand, is the fact that it primarily utilizes on technology pioneered by BlasTech Industries, with the design specifications for a refined TibannaX gas cell being misplaced during Dash’s brief stint in the larger corporate game.
Like an earlier product of the workshop, the Last Whisper is constructed out of polycarbonate with a Nightshadow finish for that sleek, stylish aesthetic. The frame itself is built to be rapidly broken down and reassembled at the user's discretion, allowing it to be transported in parts or as a whole. Between that and the aforementioned refined TibannaX gas cell, not to mention the rather nifty silencer, the weapon itself is a rather stealthy cheeka. While it might only have ten shots, each of them is guaranteed to be not only borderline invisible, but as quiet and as fitting as the overly dramatic, edgy name it was given during testing.
