[SIZE=12pt]Upon first glance Lavigny Finch could pass for any other lightly armored human. A closer inspection reveals a series of cybernetic enhancements covering at least a fourth of her body. Both arms and legs have replaced up to their mid joints, and her face is partially reconstructed with flesh-imitating metal.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Her long blonde hair is kept deceivingly short in the form of a thick ponytail with braids. Lavigny’s somewhat larger eyes appear original, bearing a common light blue color. She dresses quite conventionally for an Outer Rim spacer, with a pair of durasteel shoulder pads and a multi-purpose utility belt. A pair of thigh holsters on either leg contain her twin heavy plasma pistols.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]Lavigny was born on Entralla to the affluent Fynch family. Her grandfather was the founder of Fynch Automation, a robotics and cybernetics company operating in the industrial sector. Eventually the company passed to her uncle, and employed her father as their chief strategy officer. Her mother belonged to a mercantile house with ties to the resurgent One Sith before their ultimate collapse.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Because her father played second fiddle growing up, Lavigny was pressured into success from an early age. Being enrolled into an exclusive humanocentric academy, she developed xenophobic views and became accustomed to a hierarchical lifestyle. Lavigny had a hard time making friends because of her bloodline, and distanced herself from social circles of an apolitical nature.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]When she became a teenager, Lavigny changed pace in a heartbeat and was no longer her parents’ ideological prodigy. Quickly turning to pranks and teenage acts of rebellion, Lavigny was shipped offworld to Jaemus where she began working at the Galentro shipyards. Sometime later on she was involved in a serious accident when a starship reactor overloaded. Having nearly perished, Lavigny was rushed back to Entralla on life support and operated on by an elite team of surgeons. All of her limbs were crippled, and internal burns had scarred most of her organs requiring cybernetic compensation.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Post-surgery, Lavigny struggled to achieve a ‘normal’ life and transformed into the black sheep of the Fynch family. Returning to the shipyards, Lavigny dedicated herself to her work as she rehabilitated from her accident. She quickly became something of a folk hero among her co-workers and developed a knack for trouble. When she turned 21 she left the company and toured the Outer Rim as a spacer, serving various crews as she jumped from one ship to the next. Because of the obvious dangers of traveling in remote systems, she quickly took up pistols and became a natural with them.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]For the next two years she developed a reputation as a gambler, cantina fiend, and brawler. An ugly confrontation with a crew she worked for led to her arrest on Saleucami where she was imprisoned for over a year. Her release was only secured when her father tracked her down after an extensive search. Upon her release, Lavigny was forcibly escorted by her father’s henchmen back to their estate on Entralla where she was grounded under penalty of house arrest.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]With little momentum on Entralla, Lavigny took up various addictions to cure her boredom. Most particularly alcohol, a substance she handled well thanks to her modified organs. During one of her benders Lavigny stumbled into association with an underground cell called the ‘Red Moons’, named after the once infamous mercenaries who fought to liberate worlds from the Empire. Though far from the reputation of their namesake, the Red Moons were actively involved in various movements that opposed Fynch Automation and other Sith-loyal organizations embedded on the planet.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]It didn’t take long before her family caught onto her activities. Rather than risk their reputation, Lavigny learned of her uncle’s attempt to have her quietly killed. With the help of the Red Moons she arranged transport off world with falsified documents and made for wild space.
