Public Lawlessness and Order

Ravenous

Guest
A dark billow of smoke trailed from the 136th floor of the Kriselist conference building, an explosion of some kind reducing the roof of the building to smoldering metal as it plummeted to the ground. A police barricade guarded the building against onlookers as Police droids dispersed crowds and set up yellow tape around the entrance of the tower. Medics carried blacked corpses out on stretchers their features rendered unrecognizable due to intense burns. The corporate executive had been killed in the attack leaving it up to his shareholders to prevent a financial crisis. One of these shareholders Ravenous stood motionless on the bottom floor of the complex as detectives questioned all witnesses present. The dark Jedi spared a glance as the executive was wheeled away a steaming torso all that was left of his body. Ravenous couldn't say he felt anything for the man as the news of his death reached him, still, he wasn't without a gleam of sorrow as he was loaded onto an ambulance a blanket placed over his charred body.

"That's a closed casket funeral if I ever saw one." The man chuckled as if his ill-timed joke were somehow funny to anyone other than himself. "Something funny Ravenous?" Bellowed a gruff voice that cut through the air with a foul stench. Turning around Ravenous observed the short plump man that approached him with a cigar in his left hand and a wine bottle in his right. Beside him were two Trandoshans their weapons slung over their shoulders as they eyed the Dark Lord hoping for a chance to get their claws bloody. "No. Not really. Just thought I'd kill he silence with some light humor, not that you care." The man scoffed as he took another swing of his drink the tight buttons on his shirt in danger of breaking with every movement of his chest. "No, actually I don't care. Not about your joke and even less about Mister Larz over there. What I do care about is that you, me, and that other guy are expected to split this company between the three of us." An ugly grin surfaced from the man's stubble.

"But I have no intention of doing that. In fact, I fully intend to cut you out of the picture entirely my dear friend. Don't be too disappointed now. You must have known this was coming right? Anyway I'll be needing help setting up my new office once I'm executive. You'll help right."

An eerie smile formed under Ravenous's mask.

"Don't worry. I'll help you."

As you can see there's a lot happening here. The story can go in a number of directions all at your choosing. You can be the guy trying to crack the case, some guy trying to get the company, even the guy selling hotdogs. All up to you!
