IRON CROWN ENTERPRISES SHIPYARDS
The meeting room overlooked a half-finished Star Destroyer, a hibridium-cloaked model that Iron Crown had once built exclusively for the Lords of the Fringe. The ship had a beaked prow and its stern hull flared out like the feathers of a tousle-headed bird. Ugly to some, sleek to others. Interesting enough to her cover identity that she could look without appearing to show unusual focus. Last thing she needed was to betray the idea that she was lost in memory.
"Thank you for seeing me, Mister Irani. I'm Director General Cardei of Strategic Security Branch." Of Theed Hangar, but that went without saying: the appointment had been on behalf of the Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps. "Call me Ajira," she added, taking a long look at the man across from her. He had the direct, piercing eyes of a man who saw a higher purpose, or at least an overarching plan. Otherwise, he appeared entirely unimpressive, even if he was sole owner of the shipyards that had served the One Sith and the Lords of the Fringe -- not to mention many other yards across the galaxy. Rumor was, he'd bought out his partners recently after a period of exponential growth. That had to have hurt his bottom line, but it had left him the man in the seat. The only one.
"I was hoping we could talk about a recent incident off Indupar. A hyperspace accident."
