- VersatileLe Monarque Rouge grants the wearer a diverse selection of attires without the hassle of venturing back to one's quarters or taking up additional cargo space. Instead, the wearer simply spins about several times which causes "fire" to slowly "burn" away the current dress whilst leaving another in its place.
- Le Monarque Rouge builds upon the concept of a Talisman of Calling, in that the conjured attires can persist for a period of six hours before reverting back to the Mist. Reversion leaves behind the "base" attire, which is a simple, white dress.
- LimitationsAs an improvement upon the Talisman of Calling, Le Monarque Rouge is subject to a number of the original artifact's drawbacks. Particularly, damages sustained to any of the attires do not revert upon "dismissal" and will appear once donned again. Additionally, total destruction of Le Monarque Rouge, in any of its forms, will cause all three of its options to be lost. Lastly, as a Force-crafted artifact, Force-neutral zones will immediately revert the attire back to its base appearance.
- Despite being born of the Force, Le Monarque Rouge is quite literally a trio of exceptional dresses. They provide the wearer no protection from battlefield threats, nor notable defenses from harm elements.
Though the furthest thing from an expert on the subject, Seren Van-Derveld always had the impression that a diverse wardrobe was a great asset for man and woman alike. This opinion was most likely due to his "regal" upbringing - which included one too many dress up sessions inflicted by his sisters. In the present, Seren noticed that his dear companion Willow had a preference which greatly contrasted what he considered normal. Where he would gladly fill a closet with clothes on behalf of them both, she preferred the bare necessities.
Thus, as the season of giving rapidly approached, Seren devised a happy middle ground. In the beginning, Seren had purchased three dresses from the famed "Fasions by F'jlk" of Pantora: a simple white, a formal black, and "one for him." However, ultimately knowing of Willow's current preference inspired him to do much more. So began Le Monarque Rouge: an improvement upon the notable Talisman of Calling which could satisfy both their preferences.
On the surface, Le Monarque Rouge is but a simple, white dress. However, should the wearer spin several times, an ethereal flame will manifest and "burn" the current dress away. The flames actually act as an intermediary between the present world and the Mist frequented by practitioners of "Magick." Thus, as one dress is stored in the Mist, another is seamlessly deposited in its place. Moreover, the display is the definition of dazzling and is certain to turn heads at any event.
As intended.
