Learn to rewire a hyperdrive?

For dirt cheap, Jorus bought a ton of canon hyperdrives that, with some tweaking, can go very very fast. Anyone want to lend a hand with the development thread and learn to make a hyperdrive go faster in the process?

These hyperdrives are 0.7's that can hit 0.5 with the right mods. I'm going to do my level best with this thread, with your help, to sub a 0.357 at limited production.
