Learning From Errors

Concord Dawn
Munin Council Chambers

Despite the fact that Kashyyyk was a grand and sweet victory of Mandalore and her Warriors, there were always errors and mistakes that happened when one achieved victory. Granted, the opposition was less than what Vilaz had anticipated but there were casualties and wrong calls made that could've been prevented at all. Yes, sacrifices were necessary in war when it was appropriate but Vilaz would've wanted less of that. While it was an honor for a Warrior to sacrifice their life for Mandalore and future generations of Mandalorians, the Akaan also wished that every Mandalorian lived a long, happy, and fulfilling life.

Which was why he had summoned this Clan Munin meeting in the council chambers here on Concord Dawn. All the high officers that were at the Battle of Kashyyyk were obliged to attend; everyone else had the option to attend.

"Okay, first order of business: I have a new Alor'ad for the clan and her name is [member="Briika Tor"]," the Akaan said proudly at the great table that he was sitting at. Everyone applauded Bree in many forms: claps, battle cries, whistling, and many more. At his right side sat the golden blonde, his beloved, and gave her a warm smile. Their relationship was still a secret from the masses, but only their family and relatives knew of the romance they shared with each other.

"Now that I've announced that, let's discuss about Kashyyyk. Yes, we won but there might've been some errors or mistakes that may have happened, and I want all of us to learn from those mistakes so that they may never happen again. With that being said, hit me with your opinions and ideas."

The announcement by [member="Vilaz Munin"], the Alor of Clan Munin, that she was now Alor'ad was unexpected and a present surprise. Though lately, the Akaan had been full of surprises. He had been spoiling Briika with gifts left and right. She wasn't quite sure why her significant other had chosen her over all his other marshals, but the Tor would be proud and honored to be the second in command of his clan.

"Vor entye, Alor Munin bal ner vode," Bree acknowledged with an appreciative nod of her golden head to those gathered at the table; a small smile flashed to the Cuir Rekr as her azure eyes caught his sapphire ones last.

Errors and mistakes… Well the battle medic could think of a couple, but she would let others speak first before throwing her two cents in.

The young clone of Jango Fett was off in a corner of the room.

He was supposed to be watching and learning how the Clan conducted itself. Except, he didn't see anyone conducting anything. It was just a bunch of adults at the adult table, all talking about stuff that was either boring or... well, to be honest, he wasn't sure about the rest. Either it was just vocabulary he wasn't familiar with, or else he just wasn't that good of a listener. And probably a combination of the two.

If the objective was for him to sit still then... well... that wasn't going to happen.

Instead, the boy was up. The boy was down. Occasionally on the floor. With his knees on the seat. Or with his butt in the seat, but he was hanging upside down so that his head was resting on the floor. He'd brought one of his action figures in with him, playing silently as he half-listened to the adults talking. Because he guessed that's what he was supposed to be like, adults talking. Around tables.

Because when you talked around a table, it was serious business.

When people started clapping, the small cloned looked up in confusion. Okay, now he was really lost about what was going on.

He'd stayed with Miss Briika during the invasion of Kashyyyk, acting as a helper as she made injured Mandalorians feel better. Maybe that's what the applause was for?

Turning his head, the boy spied a red skinned Togruta who'd just recently joined the table. Making his way over so that he was standing beside her chair, the child leaned in and whispered, "What... what does alor'ad mean?"
