The rain pouring down on Tarw was intense, it was lucky that he was in his full armour or he would be soaked to the bone. Unfortunately it also meant that his armour felt a lot heavier when trekking through the swampy mud to his destination. He was meeting with a senior marine, Aiden Rennek. Tarw didn't know much, he refused to research the background because he didn't want to be bias in what he thought of the man before the mission started and instead, he wanted to see how he was in action. That was where a true character's nature was revealed, in Tarw's mind at least. Grabbing his binoculars and scanning the horizon, he located the meeting point and sighed deeply. This mud was making the journey ten times harder as it was sucking him in and slowing down his movements.
Slowing marching forward, Tarw thought about the mission that he had been assigned. It was locating and dealing with potential Imperial forces, the growing imperial influences of the Sith and other Empires was becoming a concern, and if there were Sith forces near the Galactic Alliance borders then they had to be dealt with. Otherwise, spies could attempt to collapse the Alliance from within. Something that Tarw shuddered at the thought of. His mind was firm on ensuring that was not something that occurred and he would make sure that the Alliance was safe.
Tarw grunted with exhaustion as he reached the meeting point. The rain had taken a toll on him and he could tell he was more tired than he would have liked for the mission. Looking around, he wondered if Aiden had already made it to the meeting point. He panted slightly, letting himself catch his breath before they got into the mission properly.
