Learning new tricks

Zaiden approached the revered Sith Master, bowing slightly he said, "Master, I am told you know many rare Force talents. I humbly ask you to teach me."

"I understand you only teach Sith, but I am also of the Darkside and I'm hoping that may sway you. I am also able to pay a hefty sum as well if that may help my case." He said as he stood straight again. He allowed his aura to project a sense of humbleness.

"In my plans to appease a dieing friends wish, I need to learn everything the force has. I must.." He ended the last bit by casting his eyes down for a moment, the thought of him hurting for a moment.

He stood in silence for a moment. The structures of Tahv cast shadows across their current location in the city. He was respectful, at least. "Not Sith, yet use the Darkside? Let me ask you this, how much of the Jedi teachings do you follow, then?" He stared the man down, folding his arms across his chest. It was odd that he'd been sought out for training like this, but he was willing to teach minds that were clear of brainwashing.

Depending on his answer, Zaiden might have pain in his future if there was a necessity to purge teachings from this student.

Zaiden laughed, "None. I am just not from the proper places nor family to get accepted into the Sith. But I found a way to learn."

Folding his arms behind his back, he brought his gaze to the Masters, "I do not care at all for the Jedi, nor their tree hugging ways."

"Accepted into the Sith? My dear boy, the Sith is a way of life, not a social club. You're probably thinking of the false Empire. They are a poor example. Wasteful, bloated. They are not true Sith. They are run by someone self-serving. You are more than welcome to join our ranks. All that we ask is that you work to further yourself in them and further our goals. And you will get all the training you require."

He did have to correct something, though. "It is not the 'pacifist' nature of the Jedi that is the problem. It is their inhibition of the growth of the galaxy. Remember that."

Zaiden nodded, "True but that's it. I would have to find a Sith Master to train me. And at the time when it would have been best, I was lightyears away. With no ship, nor credits of any kind. So I made do with what I have. Now I have the opportunity to learn from a Sith Master.."

"Will you teach me?" He questioned.

"Well, you seem free of taint. I will train you. The Tribe always needs new blood." He folded his arms across his chest as he examined the man. "How would you feel about a spot in our Circle? Learn from me, I will judge your strength and fitness to lead, and we can go from there."

"Circle? And which circle would you be speaking of?" Zaiden inquired. He had no problems joining a faction. Especially Sith. But to what he would agree to was his concern, "I can hear the word and make a decision from it."

"The Circle of Lords. The governing body of the Tribe. As a knight of the Tribe you would have the right to claim a spot there as a Lord. From there you can push to ascend to the rank of High Lord, and one day possibly strike me down and take on the rank of Grand Lord." He nodded, finding the idea entertaining of plotting his own demise like that. "The Tribe values ascension that does not harm the Tribe overall. The benefits of one to build towards the benefits of all, you could say."

Zaiden nodded, "It would be an honor. I'm sure."

He didn't know enough about the planets around him. And that bothered him, so any chance to learn that which he did not know he usually tried to accept.

He wondered all of which this Master really knew and what he would teach, "Master, what can you teach me?"

He couldn't help but chuckle at that question. "For all the years I've existed, I know quite a few things to teach you. The question you should be asking is 'what am I capable of learning from you'. I know abilities that would drain the life out of you if you tried to use them. You must build up your connection to the Force and learn to harness its strength more." He pondered a moment more before continuing.

"I can teach you combat, how to hide yourself with the Force, Sith Alchemy. Oh so many things. You just have to know where you want to go with training."

Zaiden nodded. He had picked well. "I will learn what you deem me capable to learn. And if you feel I'm not ready for any, I will return when I am and learn them then. I seek to become the most powerful master in existence. To do that I must learn. Where would you have us begin Master?" Zaiden questioned as he looked at the man, he didn't appear all that much. But the force did make things a whole lot different.

Zaiden may see something small and frail, but the force could be strong in it just the same, another thing he had to learn to remember...

He turned his head to face the temple in Tahv. He nodded in that direction and began moving towards it. "We will get you introduced to the ways of the true Sith, then we will get you trained."

Zaiden nodded and walked behind the man, thoughts on the future. He could now learn more powerful powers. Another stemp to his end goals.
