SEX: female
HEIGHT: 5 ft 3 in
WEIGHT: 117 pounds
EYES: Chocolate brown
HAIR: light Auburn

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
(+) PILOT: Leena has a knack for flying and can manage almost any ship she encounters. This makes for easy escapes from sticky situations.
(+) LITTLE N' LETHAL: Leena has a very slim and petite build that allows for quick movements. In spite of her size she is also quite strong and resilient.
(+) SLICE N' DICE: Leena is very good with a blade as well as a light saber. She was taught how to use bothan weapons from a young age as a means of self defense.
(+/-) CONFIDENCE IS KEY: Leena is extremely confident in her abilities and what she is good at, so much so she might come off as a little cocky. This self assurance makes the girl prone to taking risks that could end extremely badly as well as make her dismiss threats present in others.
(+/-) THE FORCE HAS A MIND OF IT'S OWN: Leena has a strange connection with the force, having trouble controlling it when she needs too. In a way the force controls her, as a child she inflicted some extreme damage unwillingly that would ultimately cost the lives of her family. Although she has a poor understanding of it, it is incredibly powerful within her.
(-) IGNORANCE IS BLISS: Leena is friendly enough, but there are some social interactions that will fly over her head; sexual advances are one of them. She doesn't know how to flirt nor understand when someone is flirting with her. Leena is not someone you pick to be your wingwoman. This can be incredibly awkward for the poor person trying to get her attention.
(-) THE WAY: Being raised by bothans she is very sensitive and defensive of the race and loses her temper when someone speaks ill of them. She is aware of the reputation bothans have and hates it, believing it isn't fair to sum the race up as self serving when the man she considers her father took her in without a selfish thought in mind.
(-) HOTHEAD: Although Leena has a good nature and fun to be around, she has a bit of a short temper. She will not hesitate to throw a punch when she is in one of her moods.
APPEARANCE:
The one word that has always seemed to follow Leena around is little. She has had a very dainty physique ever since she was a little girl. As a child she was often compared to a doll despite her scruffy and impish appearance. As she grew into a woman's body she still maintained a slender frame which allowed Leena to become very nimble. Leena's skin has always remained quite fair even though she spends a lot of time in the sun; it seems she gains another freckle to add to the set sprinkled lightly across her nose or the few on her shoulders. Leena's hair has always been very thick and long with light waves made from sleeping in a braid. Combining with the length and striking red colour her hair has an element of wildness to it. Leena's eyes are a warm shade of brown that crackle like fire with every mischievous grin she flashes.
BIOGRAPHY:
Sobal and Jola Keldrono were human street merchants trying to make a decent living on the planet Alderaan, selling thier goods to the many noble houses that inhabit the world. However the nobles of Alderaan didn't see much use in old historic relics, so the couple began to struggle with their lack of income. It was not long before the merchants were out of business, trapped on the monarchy-ruled planet with not a single credit to their name. Living off the scraps of the royals, set up in a run down caretaker shack, the pairs life took another downward turn when Jola became pregnant. Realizing that the couple would not be able to support another person in their family, Jola and Sobal considered abortion, taking the unborn's life before it could make its way into their hearts. However the pair couldn't work themselves up to do it, deciding to wait until the birth and decide when the time came. Nine months later, Jola gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, who was named Leena, and was brought to their small shack. A week had passed and already the Keldrono's were regretting their decision, heart-broken that they couldn't feed their only child, the only thing that gave them a sliver of hope. Knowing that their only options were to either kill their little girl or give her up, the new parents snuck their child on a departing freighter ship, grief-stricken as they said their last goodbyes to their little Leena.
Leena along with the freighter's cargo was carried to Bothawui, where she was discovered by the Bothan captain. A kind-hearted soul, the young Bothan took the baby into his care, welcoming the human child into his rather large family. The Bothan, Patuk, introduced the girl to his family, looking after her as if she were his own flesh and blood. Leena grew up under Patuk and his families care, the Bothan's accepting her immediately as one of their own. In spite of the obvious differences between her and her family, Leena had a happy childhood. Patuk was a freight pilot and spent a lot of time away from home. When he was stationed on Bothawui however he was constantly followed around by a scruffy little Leena who was eager to help her 'Pa'. Patuk saw the tiny human as his daughter and the tiny human saw herself as Bothan. She learnt how to speak Basic, Huttese and Bothese. Surrounded by several uncles, aunts, cousins, a grandmother and a grandfather Leena was never alone for a moment and was soon taught the 'tricks of the trade'. She learnt the basics of piloting freighters when she was seven and how to fix one when she was eight, even accompanying Patuk on a few daddy and daughter deliveries.
Putak raised her to be a very self assured, very stubborn, and very confident young lady. Although she was quite small in comparison to her cousins her age (she was affectionately called the 'lovable runt' but the extended family) the rough play and work made Leena a durable kid. Even though managing the home fort was busy Putak did take the time to educate Leena. She was taught how to read and write more different languages he thought would be beneficial for her as well as teaching her the history of Bothawui. He also taught the child how to defend herself just in case some clients were hostile or difficult. She was taught to use both a long and short blade. Leena was naturally light on her feet and soon learnt her man advantage in combat was that she was fast; she didn't fail to remind her family how many times she had won duels by simply tripping her opponent up.
Even though in her own eyes she was all Bothan, there was still some things that set her a part from her family; and it wasn't her race. Since she could walk Leena had shown blatant signs of force sensitivity. When she was five she stamped her foot in a tantrum which caused the whole docking bay to rumble; a result of the force acting on her childlike rage. When she was nine she got into an fight with her cousins over who would be allowed to pilot the new freight, she sent them flying into concrete walls because of some freak pulse of the force. Leena had noticed it but tried to forget every event that could be classified as bizarre. She didn't want to seem different from anyone else. Her family on the other hand worried about it. They were all very aware of what these series of strange occurrences meant but they chose to not speak of it. Ever. The demonstrations of her force sensitivity grew more unpredictable and more dangerous. Putak and the rest of the family didn't want to see their lovable runt to be whisked away by the mysterious Jedi...or to be discovered my a bloodthirsty Sith. This oath of silence would eventually be their demise.
When Leena was 16 years of age the freight business took a turn for the worse and the whole family suffered. Their once constant source of credits was growing broken and less reliable. They were forced to sell two of their three freighters and move to Cerea in hopes they'd encounter more work. Not everyone in the family liked the idea. When everyone was aboard the last freighter nearing Cerea an fight broke out between Putak and one of his brothers over if the move was the best decision. Soon enough everyone had joined in, yelling and shouting over each other in hopes their voices would be hurt or their insults had been caught. Stress and worry had become to much for the poor family to bare, too much for Leena as well. She tried to break up the quarrel but was soon pulled into it herself when a punch intending for Putak landed in her stomach. Overcome with rage and fear for her family the force surfaced again and made one of the engines combust. Within seconds the flaming ship was being heaved down by Cerea's gravitational pull. With no control over the ship and the family engulfed in panic and chaos the vessel crashed violently into the planet's surface. The wreckage was horrifying. Leena, protected by the force that had caused this disturbing and scarring event, was the only survivor.
Leena lingered on Cerea for months with nothing but guilt and sorrow keeping her company. She no longer had a purpose in life or a reason to keep on living. Eventually the distort human decided to take her own life so she would never have to suffer the loss of her loved ones ever again. When Leena attempted to carry out the deed she was stopped by a cloaked hero; who turned out to be Rasu Gan of the Jedi Order. The Jedi convinced her that she still had so much to keep breathing for and sensed the force stirring within her. Rasu offered Leena to teach her how to control this power and become a Jedi, which Leena agreed to without much thought. She began her training as a Padawan on Tython as a reluctant Jedi, telling nearly everyone she was only there because she had nowhere else to go. However as the lessons continued and time moved forward Leena slowly became the happy, self assured young lady she had been on Bothawui with the drive to become the best Jedi she could be. After two years of learning the basics Master Rasu Gan took Leena as one of her students and was taught the ways of the force under her watchful eye.
