Lesson one - Don't die.

Adjusting the vest that I put on, I zipped up the pocket on my left side as the credits jingled inside. I smiled as I grabbed a simple Training saber. Making sure that it was usable and effective, the yellow saber hummed as it was activated for a few seconds, then was shut off. I clipped it onto my belt next to my own saber.

This would be my first official lesson to a person who I did not really know. I was nervous, and slightly scared on how the girl would react to me. But I had to make sure that I kept my senses together and not lose my marbles. Walking towards the training grounds, I looked for the woman, but most likely, she would find me first because of my description of a "Demonic" arm.

Taking one of the credit chips, I flipped it around my fingers waiting for her.

Couldn't wait to get to the temple grounds. Over joy took a hold of her more so for the fact would met another fellow brother of the fringe. Oh how she like learning about other and the way they acted in this galaxy. It seem no one was like in their own view.

Finding herself in something very plain but form fitting to move more easy not get caught up. Finding her steps more lively now more then anything else. It was her that spotted something more then anything. The finding that he was flipping something over and over. If anything making her way towards him no left to chance. Knowing after which time giving into the look on this one face. Knowing she stood out like something of a different world. With her broken basic. "I think..you...may .......be look for...to play with ...those glowing sticks...how I wish to play with them..to touch and learn how to use the long stick...

looking to my right as a woman, redhead and about my same height came up to me. Her voice was nice and soft, but she spoke.... differently. It was almost like she had a tick to her voice causing her to pause just long enough to keep you interested, but not enough that you lost it. One thing for damn sure, She did look nice. Smiling I nodded my head. Pulling the training saber crom my belt, I spoke, "Close. First off, I am Nickolas Imura. And what I will be teaching you is some basics in Lightsaber combat. Or you can call them glow sticks if you want." I chuckled to myself at that part. Once calling them Laser swords, and glowrods when I had first seen them. Now I was pretty well versed in Shi-cho. Form one.

Handing my own hand out to the woman, I intended to shake hands with her in a polite manner. As well, I would follow by handing her the saber. "Don't push the red button yet, we have to talk about it first." I didn't want her to point that at her face and press the wrong thing, or at me. But preferably not at herself. I wouldn't want a pretty face to go to waste.

This one speak a lot different in could remember some with the basic. Listening was the key to this first greeting. Nickolas had been his name or should she address him with his last name of Imura. Pausing for a moment in a amusement as much as one puzzlement.

"I'm Inger Stormfire born of Mist Lake winter born. Master Imura..." Giving this one a very firm hand shake after which she release it but not before she squeezed it. Not knowing if this was the custom as with everyone as this was first time this had been done to her. Only to have her hand be giving the silver handle but with a warning not to push the red button. This make her puzzle more. Did it have something to do with his red eyes that held his gazes upon her. Rightly so she couldn't help but give a quiver on her own lip. This one was very odd and different feel, in a way the god of craze was upon this or of the darken soul god.

I listen...you ...speak...I ..learn ..yess....

Nodding my head as I got the name of the woman from her in a more formal introduction, I smiled brightly to her, to try and relieve the tension between the two. I knew I had to be... whats the word? chill? relaxed? with her so she would feel the same way. "Relax Inger, I'm not here to chew you out." chuckling a little as I pointed to the training saber in her hand. "This what you hold, is a training version of the lightsaber. Instead of cutting into everything with a single touch, its almost like a hot iron. It can bruise you and maybe burn you, but not cut a limb off." Looking to her to see if she understood that this was not really a weapon as the only way you could die from this is if someone with substancle strength shoved it into your gut with extreme speeds, or literally beat someone to death.

"This here is the emitter." Pointing to the end that the red button was closest to, "The glowing blade comes out from this end. When you activate it, you need to make sure that nothing is in it's way, or you can injure yourself, or someone else." Grabbing my own saber, I thumbed the tab to show her my own button and how I held the emitter away from myself and from her, "Go ahead and turn it on." After turning my own on, the red blade snapped on and the constant hum from the lightsaber felt perfect to my ears.

What came next was a surprise to her. Did he really just say those words? Knowing of the way her people trained in training there wasn't any time to relax at all. Then again they always trained with the real thing nothing fake. Those that wasn't blessed by the gods was too weak they need to be weed out and let the gods play tricks and seem them to the under god.

Listen she did to every word. You know nothing of my kinmen, when we fight it is for blood, guts and glory nothing less then that will do to make a fit warrior. "

Giving a nod of her own head to the understanding. As she first looked at the handle and studying it before she let herself push the red button. Making sure the end that the blade would come out of it was way from her body. As it came on she couldn't help but show in her face at how she very much was curious among other things.

It feels lighter then what a sword of my people would be made out of mental.

I completely ignored the fact that she was talking about her kinsmen and their ability to fight. That much I did not care for. You could be a good fighter, and still be taken down. Much like my brother had. The thought stopped me for a second as she continued to speak, saying that it was lighter than normal. Nodding my head I answered.

"Yes. The actual blade is made out of Plasma. A weightless form of matter that can cut through anything given the right frequency. Most if not all of the weight in a lightsaber is in the hilt. Which means, you need to be able to transition from using a weighted blade, where the weight is balanced out along the entirety of the sword, and the lightsaber where the weight is all in your hand."

I then brought my saber in front of me across my legs in a down ward position.

"If you feel that you are ready, Go ahead and try to strike at me with your full force. As long as you feel that you have a slight handle on it. If not, then we can work on you holding it correctly."

Soaking in all that he was saying about he weightless blade that as now humming in her hand. As she let herself get use to such a light weapon in her hand. A lot less muscle will be had or would it be. It was after all something one would have to keep in mind to balance which with the weight gone could either be good or bad.

Yes it is something to keep in mine. I guess we could give it a try.

Not sure how this would go down or how it would play out. At the end she could be made to look like a fool. Never less she would find herself getting the blade up. Then trying to remember all her fathers teaching. It only took a few thoughts before she swinging at him. Only to feel her own feet getting tangled up. It wasn't that she was a c lutes it was because she wasn't used to handling such a light weighted sword.

This one need to work on foot work.

I cleared my face of all emotion as the woman brought her blade up in a stance. Not really appropriate for lightsaber combat, more suited for a heavier blade, I simply twisted my wrist and let her saber smack away from me. It was easy for me to do, but even while this may seem tedious, it was important for her to work with a weightless blade. I smiled as she commented on her foot work. Nodding my head, I held up a hand.

I kept my smile on my face as I moved to stand beside her and took a stance. Feet shoulder width apart, My left foot in front of the other with my body turned slightly at an angle. knees not really bent, but loose nor locked. (This is about what the stance looks like.) Holding my saber in the stance as well, I spoke, "Go ahead and copy me to the best of your ability. If we are to fix your foot work, you need to have the right stance first."

[member="Inger Strömfire"]

Finding herself to be more then every wanting to get this stance right. As she shifted her hold body to where it need to be. Finding herself able to do more then asked for. Only having to take herself out of her stance to retrieve her saber. Finding herself back beside her letting her own body get use to the very strange way of giving one body to a sword form.

I is ready

Coming to find out her stance was as center and firm as she thought it should be. It was her topple like tree in one of the blizzards storms. Finding herself getting up again and pushing forward once again. As it happen again until she had herself center and firmly rooted.

Looking to her, I watched as she took the stance. Considered by some as "Jedi ready" or simply "Ready stance" for the average battle that would take place. Nodding my head I walked over to see that her non-dominate leg was locked at the knee. Taking my hand I leaned down a little to push in behind her knee just enough to show that her knee needed to be bent. Walking behind her, I looked at her back. Somewhat slouched, but enough to pass. I made a note of it none the less.

"Make sure that your shoulders and back are straight. You don't want to feel relaxed in a situation like this, as well, the more bending you do over your toes, the more pain and problems will come later on in life."

Simple physics said that a persons head doubled in potential weight when the neck was bent at just a 10 degree difference. I then tapped her arms. Standing out like a chicken wings, "Keep your arms close to your body, but not too close that it will hinder you." With my hands, I moved her elbows inwards and stopped at a moment to show about where to keep them. Nodding my head, I moved back to stand in front of her and took the same position as before,

"Now, try and attack me again."
