Stray
The Wolf
Darkness was all he could see, except for the white puffs of his breath. So sound except for his own paws crunching in the snow, or was it snow? Whatever it was it was cold to his paws, but it also felt sharp like broken glass. A cold shiver ran down his spine making his fur to stand on end. Was this yet another nightmare where Stray found himself lost in a world of darkness and Freezing cold? No. Something was different this time, he could feel the pain of the cold etching its way into every muscle and tendon of his body. Even cloaked in fur as a wolf it did not block out the icy wind that blew constantly. Despite not being able to see where he was going Stray continued walking, and Walking.
a dem light suddenly appeared and Sat up, What had just happen? Did he blackout? No something, something felt wrong here. Like every night before with the same dream he suddenly found himself in a room. Blank, no doors no windows. Not even a light. Yet somehow there was a light and warmth coming from somewhere in the blank gray room. He no longer felt the pain he had just felt seemingly just moment before. The only thing that was in the room was a Mirror that when he looked into showed him a world he could not recognize, Covered by flames. This confused him, why would he have dreams like this?
Maybe this was how his conscious continued to pester the young Shi'ido that he was alone in the vast Galaxy, or maybe it was something else that he could not figure out. The Burning world is what bothered him the most. But he shrugged it away It was only a dream…Right?
The sound of a falling rock woke Stray and he sat up, shaking himself off the dirt off the ground and stepped out of the tent he stayed in on Vaynai. Looking at the sky before he made his way to the waterfall
Paws making next to no sound, except for the clicking of claws on the stone. The boy his way onto the rocks overlooking the cliffs atop one of the falls. Moving quietly he sat down and curled his dark gray tail over his paws. his eyes, Purple witch marked the young boy by who he was, Even as a wolf glowed against the dying moon light. Stay was a quiet person, but loyal and brave as well as wise and smart. As the first rays of sun peeked the mountains. Stray stood up. With a deep breath he closed his eyes, waiting a few moment, He then let out his breath and welcomed in the rising sun with a peaceful Howl. Lowing his head he looked at the sky and sat down again, this time returning to his human self and smiled ~ good morning everyone~ he thought as he sat there quietly.
Once people below began to move around, some making their way outside. Stray made his way down the rocks and headed to get something to eat, as always he was hungry. One other odd thing about him was his big appetite and never being full even after 2 or 4 bowls of stew, which was his favorite food. He never told anyone about the dream he kept having, he did not see it as a big deal figured if was just that a dream.
