Let there be Space-Fish: pt03

Slime trailed behind me as I pulled myself through the water. It was cold, but it felt good on my skin. It tingled a little. Elsewhere, larger things moved through the water. I could feel them gliding through it just as easily as I could feel the gravity that pulled them along. I had my own gravity. I moved it up and down in the water, sensing as it compresses the water. If I hold it still... the water turns into a tiny bit of ice. I chirp happily as I move my gravity, the ice floating to the surface of the water.

One of the bigger ones swings past me. It focuses its senses on me and I focus my senses on it. We're not the same. But we are the same. We are family. The bigger one chirps and sings. I sing too.

There are other things. They are smaller than me. They are in little things that float on the surface of the water and they stand on the land. They watch me as I play with my brothers and sisters. They watch me as I try to chase the bigger ones, the ones that make stronger gravity.

"They're energetic." One of the little things says.

There was a really big one. Really, really big. I chirped at it and it chirped back. He felt different from the other big ones. Different from me. He smelled like metal and had funny little things stuck to him. He also had little things like on the rafts and on the shore that walked inside of him. His skin smelled different. It was harder. It seemed really, really strong. I chirped at him again, skirting away from the giant one. He chirped at me as he splashed into the water. He pulled himself forward with a really, really strong gravity. He chased me and chirped. It was a happy chirp, not an angry chirp. He moved his gravity in front of me and I sped forwards really, really fast. I chirped as I sped through the water. That was fun! I chirped as I circled around and returned to the giant one. I chirped at him because I wanted him to throw me again.
