Let's see if the red light works shall we? (Darth Ferus)

T'zanith had spent the passed few days hold up in the library pouring over information on the ancient sith language so he could translate the books he had found on Belgaroth. Today however he was stiff and sore and wanted to limber up with some physical training done, getting to use his new lightsaber was just a plus to him.
He had reserved a small training hall for this use for most of the day and he stood there with the lower training robes covering his hips and legs while his arms were tied with cloth but his upper torso was exposed, his eyes however were still covered with a wrapping of cloth as a blindfold. The reason for this was that it allowed his skin to breathe better and aided in his movements.
He had begun with warm up exercises as well as a few push ups and similar exercises to get his body warm and limbered up for the instilling of rigorous forms and movements into his bodies muscle memory.
For the portion of lightsaber combat he had put in a request for a blade master of the sith to aid him and he hoped his request would be answered. In the mean time he simply tried his Lightsaber out with the use of the Stave martial art for blades.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

It wasn't long until the form of Darth Ferus entered the room. Dressed in a casual outfit and armed only with a single lightsaber of his in his hand and the hidden blade attached to his wrist, he would offer a rather elaborate bow to @T'zanith Zebron . Golden eyes would never leave the boys form however.

"You requested my assistance with the matter of the blade? Shall we begin then?"

As always, he wanted to get right into it, rather than wait with introductions.

T'zanith narrowed his force sight as [member="Darth Ferus"] walked into the room as he got used to his force signature, he also bowed to him as it was the respectful thing to do, to both the lords of the sith and to ones teacher. "Darth Ferus I didn't expect you to reply to my request... I must admit I was expecting a low knight to come to reply to the request." He then said as he turned off his saber as he placed it on his belt.
"If I remember correctly I put my request for Shien, Niman, Juyo, Trakta and Sokan.... which are you here to teach me my lord." He then had to ask as he was trying to broaden his horizons with the saber.

"Well, I'm not going to teach you all of those right off the bat. Each requires time and concentration to master, and so many will only split your attention far too wide. My suggestions is the first you asked for, Shien. It holds enough offensive and defensive abilities for one of your level, and is a good focal point for any lessons."

There wasn't much of an option for [member="T'zanith Zebron"] with this, as the Sith Lord brought out his golden saber and brought it to life with a flick of a switch. "Do you know anythign of Shien yet?"

When [member="Darth Ferus"] ignited his saber T'zanith took a step back and ignited his own saber as he readied himself. "I'm afraid I don't Darth Ferus." He replied, his instincts had caused him to react like he did though being among sith didn't really help that much in that regard either.

"No? Well. At least it won't be too hard to explain. Soresu, the defense form, lacks one key ability. Offensive. Shien picks this up with blaster fire. Rather than just deflect the shots away from yourself, you reflect them back at the shooter. Djem So, it's counterpart, helps more against lightsaber forms. Which is it you truly wish for?"

Slowly the Sith Lord began to pace back and forth in front of [member="T'zanith Zebron"] . While both were technically the same form, they were differing specialties, and more often than not students wouldn't know.

T'zanith thought for a few moments as he turned off his saber and placed it on his belt. "Well given that both are the same style in different later forms would learning the basics be a better foundation?" He asked then as he thought it through. [member="Darth Ferus"] had brought up an interesting dilemma in choice for T'zanith and though he would like to learn both aspects he thought he'd rather learn the foundation of the form to build the other variants of the style on a strong foundation.

"The issue is, that is the foundation. Either Djem So or Shien. Both have completely different basics, but neither really share the same. So you will have to pick one for now. Then we can begin. So, Saber, or blaster?" Ferus continued to pace, keeping his golden eyes upon [member="T'zanith Zebron"]. He would have to pick.

T'zanith thought it through and then decided that with the abundance of Lightsaber wielding opponents within the temple he'd pick Djem so. "I think Dueling would be the better beginning." He then said as he looked at [member="Darth Ferus"], the man seemed annoyed by T'zaniths habit of thinking things through from both sides if given a question he wouldn't have to answer immediately.
Drawing his saber out again he didn't ignite it just yet as he waited to see the forms Ferus would show him, as well as got ready should the training be as unorthodox like his masters.

"Very good. Prepare yourself then. Attack me, and I shall give you direction on what to do for such a form. When I feel you have an understanding, we'll switch and you'll learn how to counter. Then, you will apply your knowledge and we will end this with a simple duel. Understood?"

It was simple, and the Sith brought up his golden lightsaber in a single hand. He kept the stance neutral, ever watching [member="T'zanith Zebron"] for him to begin.

T'zanith nodded to [member="Darth Ferus"] as he gave his instructions and moved towards him as he lit his lightsaber. He came in with a sideways slash that he turned midway into an overhead downwards strike aimed at Ferus's shoulder before he began to do a series of directional slashes and strikes aimed at either his mid section, legs or head.

A grin formed on the Lord's face as [member="T'zanith Zebron"] came in. Fighting always had it's way of making the Sith rather happy, and now that this was beginning, he couldn't hide his enjoyment. His golden blade came around to catch Zebron's own, flashing white as the energy collided.

"Good, good! Fuel yourself with strength, and over power your enemy! Give them no breathing room, and what ever you do, don't stop pressing."

T'zanith didn't speak instead he began to spin around to hit [member="Darth Ferus"]'s side before he shot his foot back aimed to go into his gut. T'zanith didn't stop however and with the kick he also turned to slash down at Ferus's shoulder down towards his mid section.
His mind was turning on how to incorporate force skills into his strikes and he jumped back as he then twirled his blade into a circle around him and then brought down his blade again with both hands this time with all his strength.

Ferus caught the lightsaber, as he was just focused on defense, but the kick from [member="T'zanith Zebron"] caught him dead on, forcing the Lord to stumble back to regain his composure. A composure he couldn't. Again the acolyte came, this time with a double handed strike down.

Falling avalanche, at least the Darth wouldn't have to explain it.

Rather than stand still to catch the attack, he twisted himself to the side at the last moment. His saber was brought up not to block the strike, but cause it to angle away from the Darth's own body, an extra defense. Once more he spoke up however, grinning wide as the thrill of the fight set in fully.

"Superbly well done! Use the Force to strengthen your limbs, for Djem so is all about the attack. You won't find many opportunities to use other Force abilities unless you channel them into your blade, but that's a lesson for another time."

T'zanith didn't know how to strengthen his limps but he was quick to rebound and attack with a sidewards two handed strike followed by a force push at [member="Darth Ferus"]'s abdomen. He then jumped towards Ferus again as he came down with another downwards strike but this time he kept up a barrage of downwards strikes as he attempted to push Ferus into a corner. He was treating this as a serious duel and he had no intention of loosing even though his opponent was clearly superior to him in both power and skill.
