Let's try this Again, shall we? (Kiroa and the Republic Senate)

The Graug were not ones to take kindly to being put to rules and regulations, but they had submitted proper paperwork this time and the request to speak to the senate had already been filed and accepted. To make sure no trigger happy turret operator blew him out of the sky, Kiroa had his ship flying both Republic and Holy Clan colors and sent numerous messages to Coruscant air control to let them know they were coming. As the Graug shuttle approached the planet, ducking and waving carelessly through the traffic, Kiroa growled in the passenger seat as he sensed the lightside abomination that engulfed the planet. These people were disgusting, it was a mockery of his holy presence to bring him to such an awful place...but perhaps the Gods had wanted him here. These Republic dogs needed to be put in their place after the killing of a priest and this speech would be the beginning of something much larger and greater.

Landing outside the senate building, the boarding ramp of the shuttle came crashing down to the surface with a grinding creak. Upon seeing the shuttle no one would be surprised it sounded like such a piece of junk, it looked like it was hundreds of years old. Hell, it wouldn't be surprising to see bolts and screws flying out of the thing as it took off again. It didn't much matter to Kiroa, who stood from his seat and marched down the ramp as if he was the god of Coruscant already. Behind him came four guards (Heroic NPCs), each wearing Vong Crab armor that had been granted to them as gifts in a secret meeting with Overlord Dredge. Kiroa simply wore a modified version of the Graug's Warrior Skin that was altered into a new form. Kiroa carried no weapons but his guards each were wielding force pikes and carried Heavy Blaster Pistols on their hips, these Republicans could not be trusted after their treachery.

Taking a deep whiff of the air, Kiroa walked towards the entrance of the Senate building and waited for the cold welcome that he knew would come....

A click and a clack sounded on the floors of the senate building as the Amaran walked out to meet this new diplomat. As the head of inter-species relations, it was only natural that he come forth first. His brown eyes fell upon the Graug sent forth to meet him. In truth, he was fairly repulsed by their appearance. No elegance, no respect for finer arts. It was no wonder they had blown their first man out of the sky. With such creatures attempting to destroy them only weeks earlier, it was only natural that they shoot first and fire later.

Still, it wasn't right and he knew that. There was a flip side to every coin and Zarro could understand the anger he felt rolling off of @[member='Spirit Child Kiroa'] They had killed one of his own during a diplomatic mission. Had it been Vulpesen blown out of the sky, there would certainly be an army of Amaran's and animals striking against the very core of their planet. Of course, it was also for this very reason that the senator did not arrive completely unarmed. Hidden without his fanciful jacket were five daggers. The weapons would likely be useless should this end in a fight, but that's why he had his cane which fortunately hid a green bladed lightsaber which could be removed with a quick twist. As for backup, all he had was a green ashlan wolf who sat buried in his pocket."Salutations. Senator Zarro Verres, at your service. How can I help you gentlemen?" So what if they looked like fox-eating monsters. they were still sentient and until they tried to pop off his head, he would treat them as such.

As the little fox-man approached, two of the four crab-armored guards too positions on either side of Kiroa and crossed their force pikes in the path of the one-man welcoming party. The two Graug hissed at him like snakes, but Kiroa just starred silently down on him for a few moments. Was this what the Republic had to offer? Little animals who thought the Graug were their allies? Already Kiroa could feel his anger rising, but he quickly took a deep breath. Warlord Krag had ordered the Graug to not cause another scene on Coruscant so soon else they ruin his plans. By tradition, Krag could not simply order Kiroa around, but the Republic had spat on all Graug when they came to Gratos and that meant they were all united as one despite their horrible pasts. Before there was a common enemy, the Graug could only fight one another...the Jedi have changed that.

[In Graug] "The Republic sends a pet to meet the Spirit Child of the Gods?" Kiroa hissed "Their insults are wearing thin what patience my people are willing to extend."

Zarro's eyes turned cold as he glared at @[member="Spirit Child Kiroa "]. He could feel the contempt and had it not been for his extensive training with negotiations, he'd have likely thrown a few daggers to prove his point. Instead, he settled for his own quip. If these people enjoyed power, then he had a few facts to share. Learning forward on his cane, the Amaran sent a smoothing ripple through his fur, showing for a moment the muscular agility his body was capable of. "This pet trained the boy who nearly killed your leader. The very fact that I am here to meet you is a compliment as we could have simply sent someone out to meet and dismiss you, or meet and detain you." He clacked his cane on the ground, bringing emphasis to his words. "Instead, I am here to listen to your words. I suggest you use them wisely before you wear out our patience. You may be bigger than me, but the Republic, whos space you are in, is more than a bit bigger than yourself."

Well then, this pest was a brave one wasn't he? His empty threats meant little to the Graug in terms of keeping them inline, but perhaps they had not sent a complete pushover to greet them. Still, Kiroa's hate did not subside even for a second. Interest in the being's abilities did not amount to liking or even respect, Graug needed displays and not words. This little fox-man worked for the Republic and to a culture whose every citizen was trained to be warrior, they blamed every citizen, worker, Jedi and child in the Republic for what had happened on Gratos.

[In Graug] "Your people brought war to my planet and then expected us to not meet your challenge? Our planet bred the strongest warriors known to the galaxy and now I watch it fall to a species who cannot even live on it without suits to keep the diseases from tearing their flesh." pushing the Guard's pikes aside Kiroa leaned in towards the diplomat "Warlord Krag and his clan abandoned my people and left to help the Sith, until you decided to take our holy lands!" Kiroa barked "I sent a priest to waste his breath on your filth and you kill him before he even lands! You act for war and expect your cities not to burn! We know war, lesser and if your Republic wishes to challenge the Graug then you will get war!"

Standing back straight, Kiroa gave a short hiss "You brought war to Gratos, never forget that, lesser."

Zarro refused to flinch. His eyes calculated every movement. His ears took every word. His fur felt every shift in the ground. What he could not perceive with his senses, he made up for in the force. As a merchant, he'd have never known to speak Graug. As a senator, it was his job to study the languages and cultures of every important species. Considering the a fore mentioned war, the Graug had managed to take quite a bit of importance in his studies. In truth, it was one of his fastest times in learning a language, something this graug was about to learn as Verres finally shifted forward, moving inches from the Graug's face. "Your people faught us and landed on our planet, attempting to destroy the jedi and the senate. If you think I'm mistaken, then I must have imagined it when a pillar fell just a few feet to my left! As for strength, you put all your hold in sheer power when in fact, combat is made of so many things. Admit it. You were beaten and you simply didn't have the means to strike us down. We won because our strength lies in mroe than our arms. Realize that and perhaps you will avoid getting yourself killed!"

At the end of his words, the pistols flew from the Graug guards and into Zarro's paws which snapped up to point at @Spirit Child Kiroa's face. The creature's defiance had put him between the pikes and the amaran, making them alone with the tables turned. "I will not insult you by saying you hold fear. I will not say you are not to be feared in some way. I certainly will not say that you are weak! I will say that the republic simply has the advantage. Your priest made the mistake of coming in with such an unorthodox manner that he lost his life due to the mistake." Even as he spoke, Zarro's paws worked on the blasters, disassembling them in seconds before tossing the remains to the ground. "How about you use the muscles in your head and not your arms. The last time a Graug entered our space, he tried to blow us up. That led to our attack on your planet. We did not bring war to you. Krag did."

"Your ignorance of our people is evident in your words." Kiroa hissed, his expression unchanged and unimpressed by the fox's show of the force "Krag is the son of a woman who was called the Horde Mother, she fought in a glorious war that saw my clan thrown from Gratos and to her moon. The Holy Clan has long prayed to the God of War for a day when we would meet her in combat and put her clan's heads on pikes and reclaim our rightful place as rulers of the homeworld. Krag's only power of my clan was fear of annihilation, he was to take his clan and disappear into the void and allow my clan to finally resettle the homeworld...he was nothing but a worthy opponent who would one day die at our hands." Kiroa's words were spoken through a cold rage that had set inside his soul, they were not loud or obnoxious just dead.

"Then, before he had even left, your Republic came to our world and seized it for your own. BUT IT IS NOT YOUR OWN! The Holy Clan was to restore the old ways and bring about a new age for the Graug, but now your feet have corrupted our soil! Krag fought you as a Sith and only when you struck at our homeworld did he bring the Graug to Coruscant. You are so ignorant of us that you do not even know when your government struck our God's favor away...you dirty our language by even speaking it!"

Zarro listened intently, drinking in every word, no matter how unpleasant. "And you expect us to know this how? We fought his armies on multiple fronts. When every Graug you see attempts to destroy, a stereotype starts in a matter of minutes. Even now, you do not help yourself. Now, you come to out home. You threaten us with a war that has already been fought and I must ask one simple question. Why?" Zarro leaned back, taking a moment to settle himself. "Why are you here? If you truly wish to fight us than why send your fleets? Why send a diplomat and yourself just to give threats that may lead to your own incarceration or death. If you wish this fight to end and for the death of your people to end, then let us speak with no more insults. If not, then we have no more to discuss." @Spirit Child Kiroa

The Spirit Child stuck his nose in the air and snorted. In all honesty there were multiple reasons he was here and none of them able to be told to the Republic, but a list of excuses had already been prepared for him. "I have come here to call for your submission, lesser, as is tradition in my clan." Kiroa's answer was cold and serious to the letter "Many years ago, when your Republic was but a child suckling on the tit of this planet, diplomats were sent to our homeworld. They promised the Graug greatness, weapons, ships but it all came at a cost...submission. They wished to mine our world, have our leaders bow before them and for that they were slaughtered. At the moment we must rebuild and a war will slow that, but the Republic has insulted more than just Krag with this invasion...they have spit on the bodies of all Graug and their ancestors."

Taking one last deep breath, Kiroa looked at the Senate Building with cold eyes "This visit is to give your only warning. Free Gratos, or face a holy fire that will burn through the Republic with the divine power of the gods."

Zarro sighed and stepped back. "In that case, perhaps it is time for you to leave. The republic does not respond well to threats and considering the fires that are already burning on your home, I don't think you've any space to talk. You've come to purchase without so much as a single credit my friend. I will inform the rest of the senate of your words. Do not expect things to go as you planned. Instead, I suggest you reconsider your position and instead of fighting us, perhaps you would be better contributing. You are slaves for as long as you fight us. The moment you decide to join us, is the moment you will enjoy not only freedom, but prosperity as well. If that is the last of your message, then I believe we have no more to discuss."

"I did not come all of this way to tell you, I will speak to the Senate myself as the documents you had me sign states." Kiroa hissed, his tongue flicking in the air, "I am done speaking to you" was all that the Spirit Child could spit before brushing past him, his guards following close behind. He was not going to let his fight die with some pesky rodent.
