From our Faction Page:
“This is Levantine Space. A crag at the Edge of the East. Here we believe in free will, autonomy, personal agency. Where people and the governments they subscribe and install may act with self-determination.
Cooperation, freedom, adventure, these things we hold sacrosanct. We harbor, not a will to conquer, nor a wish to wall off. Just a simple space where natural freedoms are celebrated. No one is beholden to subscribe to anything that does not bring a flush of comfort.
And in that vein, we disallow others from effecting creeds and controls that yoke others beneath them. If all are born with the same clean slate, than such slates are inherently equal in nature. This we hold and recognize to be truth, and will uphold.
So if you prefer exploration to conquering. Adventure to butchery. Then sail the Levantines and see what awaits on worlds untouched~”

Our stated missions across Wild Space and the Tingel Arm are very simple:
Explore and reclaim worlds lost in the Dark Age of the Gulag Plague.
Enable and protect those lost worlds as equal and independent members of a military and political alliance.
Connect those lost worlds with the galaxy through new hyperspace and revitalizing economic ties.
And we're looking to attract folk who are searching for exactly that. Normally, we try to advertise by word of mouth, but a friend's suggestion prompted a full notice. We're not aiming for volumetric expansion, and we let member activities and plots mature and advance at their own pace. Administration is light, with consultation as requested. And we have a zero abide policy for interpersonal drama or shenanigans. Faction involvement shouldn't be like attending a job you loathe. Members are free to join and leave at their discretion, without looming threats of being ostracized. Force traditions are whatever your character subscribes to.
If you're interested, drop by.

From the Astronautical Academy:
“The Levantine Frontier Corps studies at the Astronautical Academy on Oswaft Station. 'Greenhorns,' as the new recruits are called, learn the finer points of navigation, exploration, starship engineering, command, tactics, diplomacy and the sciences. We offer competitive exchange programs with the Jedi Academy network and many accredited military institutes. Our visiting professors and exchange programs expose our students to the finest starfaring traditions from across known space. A semester in the Levantine Astronautical Academy uniform is an achievement; graduation is a hallmark of true success. Our graduates serve in the Frontier Corps, in the private sector, and naval and exploratory forces throughout the galaxy.”
The Academy works as a minor faction, and you don't have to be joined with the Levantines if you want a character to enrol in the school. Program running is done by various NPC's, with class activities and adventures initiated by students and PC instructors. If you want to learn Levant patroller skills, without having to fully subscribe? Then the Astronautical Academy is just the thing.
