BARBATOS SITH ACADEMY
maxresdefault.jpg
The Sith Empire relied on its grand Sith Academies, dotted around the northern reaches of the Galaxy, to train a new generation of Sith to further the expansion of the Sith Code into the furthest reaches of space. Here, young Sith Aspirants would learn the ways of the Sith through a grand system with seemingly boundless opportunities for learning - lightsaber techniques, the Sith Code, history, the ways of the Dark Side. Information lost to the blackness of the Gulag Plague remained in the libraries of the Sith, and it was here that the greatest intellectuals of the modern Sith Empire convened to share wisdom, whisper secrets to one another and counsel each other on the uses of previously undiscovered artefacts and devices lost to the pages of history. It was here that new Force techniques were willed into being, where Lu Ziez taught classes on how to bend the Force to a Sith's will, she soughed seeds of hatred and jealousy, inspired conflict amongst her students and fostered the roots of evil that would make or break a Sith.

Only the strong survived; and she herself had survived countless times, and that was why she stood where she stood today. The Dark Side of the Force was a pathway to many abilities and it was here that acolytes learnt how to achieve and master those abilities. As a Sith Overseer, she was responsible for the instruction of countless young Sith - many of them were faceless and unworthy of her attention, but there was one young Felacatian who had caught her attention. With proper instruction and the attention of the right Sith, she could be moulded into a powerful weapon to be used by the Sith, for she was not a Sith herself. Yet.

As such, the Nautolan had invited the Felacatian for a private instruction in the ways of the lightsaber on Barbatos. Ladybug Ladybug would have received a transmission earlier that day, requesting her presence. Lu's reputation amongst the Academies indicated that it was not a request to be ignored. The room was lit and cold, simply furnished to provide maximum space for the Nautolan's lectures. Upon tiered steps there was a desk, with several interesting trinkets and devices that opened as the Dark Side touched them. The Sith wore a simple garb, loose and comfortable for the upcoming bout she had planned. With ever-depleting patience, she awaited the arrival of her student.

Upon viewing the transmission, Mikilanna could feel the jealous eyes of those she shared quarters with. It was no secret she once walked the path of the Jedi for a very brief time. Unlike those fallen Jedi that flock to the Dark Side, eventually swelling the ranks of the Sith Empire or running blindfolded through the galaxy, she had left the Jedi behind before their narrow dogmatic views could engulf her. Her hatred of the Jedi wasn't the typical stanza all Sith preached, the feelings she harbored for the Jedi Order was more in tune of the intellectual variety. So at the conclusion of the transmission from the Academy's Overseer, the whispers began why she had been summoned, while others have done so much to earn the Overseer's favor. She pondered whether or not, as she had once studied the ancient Sith of the past, if removing potential rivals and threats was a practiced sport.

Before entering the Overseer's personal training room Mikilanna took one final inspection of her gear and clothing. Per the orders from the Overseer, she wore loose fitting clothing, comfortable and light, that disallowed any restrictions to her movements. Attached to her waist belt dangled the two training hilts she utilized during lightsaber practice, trying to hone her skills while smoothing out the roughened edges. She was still coming into her own regarding lightsaber usage. She tried the single blade, but found it less assuring defensively. Next, the exotic double-sided blade but found it cumbersome and restricting forcing both her hands to be occupied. Finally, she settled on wielding two blades, free to choose when and how she needed them; alone or in tandem.

Navigating the tiered steps Mikilanna stopped in front of the desk, feeling the overwhelming power of the Overseer. She was powerful, the Dark Side clearly coursing through her.
"Overseer," Mikilanna says with a slight bow of respect.
