{Biography}

In order to get to Levi's story, we must first step back to the meeting of her parents. Enter Jerimiah Jantu Hutch, not the most famous smuggler of them all, but one hell of a smuggler, if you asked him personally. However, his whole world changed the day he accepted a job to grab a crate of precious jewels from Csilla, and bring them back to Coruscant. The whole job was supposed to be easy; after all it was a simple "grab the thing, deliver the thing" job, Jeremiah's favorite. He'd made it to Csilla in one piece, snatched up the box, and headed back to Coruscant to be on his merry way, when he found himself at gunpoint. Apparently a member of chiss law enforcement has stowed away on his ship, and was prepared to bring him back. Ignoring her orders to turn the ship around, he engaged the hyperdrive, his inner-confidence telling him that he'd won that battle. Surprise, he was wrong. The woman instantly began wrestling with him for the controls, and it didn't take long for one of them to smash against them, causing his ship to quickly drop out of hyperspace, sending them hurtling down toward an ice planet. Upon waking up, the chiss woman struggled to get her bearings. Before they had crashed, the human had leveled the ship out as best as he could, so that they didn't fall to an ugly death, but now he lay unconscious, with his leg pinned underneath some metal. Struggling with the weight, she freed his leg up, then went to look for supplies. When he woke, Jeremiah noticed his left leg in a makeshift splint,and the woman pointing a blaster at him.
Eventually, after much pestering, Jeremiah found out the name of the woman: Tae'illia'rash, though he insisted on calling her Lily, claiming he couldn't pronounce 'that gibberish'. Since he was incapacitated, Lily agreed that she would work on repairing the ship, though with his guidance. As the days passed, the two talked more, and inevitably opened up to each other. He learned a bit about her past, and she learned about his. The unlikely pair shared stories of their childhoods, both being rather surprised at the other for their past and lifestyles. Lily was appalled at how often Jeremiah risked his life for what she called 'pointless exploits', and he couldn't for anything understand how someone could live a life without any kind of adventure. It eventually came to a point where there was something unspoken between them, though they refused to mention it. Besides, Lily had duty to her people, and she knew she had to turn this smuggler in, once the ship was repaired fully. Soon enough, it was.
The ride back to Csilla was a silent one. Once back on the planet, Lily took Jeremiah off of the ship in handcuffs, and he was taken to a holding facility for the time being. Though she was congratulated for her efforts and determination, she couldn't help but feel hollow. Maybe it was simply the smuggler getting to her head, but she knew she had to do something. Using her clearance, Lily walked into the facility without any resistance, claiming she was there to escort a prisoner to a different one. Jeremiah, having been in more than a few situations like this, kept his mouth shut as he was taken out of the building. Once outside, Lily took away his cuffs and handed him the access key to his ship, telling him to get off planet, and fast. He stayed put though, stating he wouldn't leave without her. When she objected, he pulled her close and kissed her, shocking her to the bone. Still dazed, she didn't resist when the smuggler grabbed her hand and broke off into a run, heading to his ship as fast as he could. By the time the chiss authorities had realized what happened, it was too late, and they were already in hyperspace, en route to Coruscant.
Once back on the city planet, Lily couldn't get enough of it. It was her first time seeing something that wasn't perpetually covered in snow, so she had insisted on Jeremiah showing her everything. He obliged, of course. Of all the sights she had seen on his special tour, one that held her interest in particular was the Jedi Temple. She had heard stories of the Jedi, and how they used to kidnap babies and small children. Of course, these were just stories of old, but she still remembered being scared of such stories as a child. Among all of this, the couple had settled into an middle-class apartment. Though it took some time, Jeremiah began to get used to domestic life. Of course he missed the stars, and the adventures that lay among them, but he was happy. In fact, it wasn't long before Lily announced that she was pregnant with a girl. While they agreed on calling her Levi, Lily insisted that she be given a name in Cheunh, so that she have some connection with her chiss heritage. In this spirit, she was also named Tirraf'reya'himmur.
From the moment she learned how to walk, Levi was full of adventure. She was often climbing whatever she could, and getting lost due to exploring. Though both her parents went out of their minds due to this, Jeremiah was always the first to support her, and usually encouraged her exploits. As he said quite often, he saw himself in her. Her adventurous spirit only seemed to grow as she got older, and so when she turned seven, her father introduced her to his ship. Levi was amazed, and honestly couldn't get enough of the giant machine. It offered so many new places to explore, and she found them all. However, it didn't take long before simply exploring wasn't enough. It came to a point where she would mercilessly beg her father to teach her to fly. Eventually he let up, and for the first time, Levi went into space. For the first five or six times, she would watch the controls anxiously, trying to soak in as much as she could. When she thought she was ready, her father placed her in the pilot's chair, and guided her gently as she maneuvered the ship around space. Of course, he wouldn't actually let her take it in and out of the planet's atmosphere until he was completely confident in her abilities, which did take a while. Eventually though, Jeremiah let his daughter have free reign of the controls, and she quickly adopted the ship as her own. From then on, Levi could more often than not be found in the YT-1930, working on its interior, making it more and more 'hers'. Her mother started to become a little concerned with what she called an obsession, but her father assured her that it was fine.
As Jeremiah visited his old ship more often, he began to pick up his old hobby again of messing with weapons. Particularly, his revolver, which he kept close to him whenever he could, which confused Levi. She couldn't for the life of her understand what was so special about that gun of his. When she wasn't messing around with the ship and learning more about it though, she would watch him silently as he practiced on a small target in one of the small cargo bays. He seemed to good at shooting, and the fluid motions of him pulling the weapon from its holster and firing mesmerized her greatly. One day, she worked up the courage to ask her father to teach her to shoot. Though he was hesitant at first, he found it hard to look into her eyes and tell her no, which of course was what she was counting on. So, under the guidance of her father, Levi began learning how to shoot at ten years old. By the age of twelve, she was an accomplished shooter, even by her father's standards. Outwardly he joked, blaming it on her genetics, being able to learn much quicker. On the inside however, he was proud as ever.
While all of this was going on, Levi still had to go to school, which her mother enforced with an iron fist. Though she was usually top in class, she was always being pushed to do better by her mother. Maybe it was the fact that she had spent so much time in her father's ship that made Lily jealous. If that was the case though, she never mentioned it. As she was pulled further away from hanging out in the ship at all hours however, her father began slowly getting back into the smuggling business. Though nobody talked about it, it was pretty obvious that he had been getting involved with his old occupation, as he came home late very often, and sometimes was even gone for a few days at a time. It took a few years, but Lily finally confronted Jeremiah about what was going on. He explained to her that the crate of jewels he had lost to the chiss government all those years ago had put him in a bind, and that if he didn't work to pay it back, the people who had originally given him the job would kill him. Though she hated it, and more so hated herself for partially being the cause of the problem, Lily let him go off on jobs to pay back the debt. After all, what more could she do?
As the years went on, the couple began to drift further apart, as could only be expected, due to them hardly seeing each other. Levi didn't fully understand the situation, nor was her mother inclined to sit there and explain it all to her. All she knew was that she missed her father, and she missed flying the ship with him all the time. One day however, Jeremiah walked in the door, and declared to Lily that it was finished. He had finally paid his debt, and he was free. Everyone was happy, of course, and the family was together once again, and just in time to celebrate Levi's eighteenth birthday three months later. The party was a simple one, because simple was really all Levi wanted for her birthday. She had her parents and her small group of friends, and that was all she needed. Songs were sung, cake was had, and all in all, everyone was having a good time. Hearing a knock at the door, Jeremiah went to go answer it, but as soon as the door opened, he was blown back into the apartment by blaster fire. Chaos ensued. Levi, at the moment more concerned with checking on her father than chasing after the shooter, ran to the fallen human. She held him in her arms, seconds before he died. After everything had settled down, and the coroner had taken the body, Levi sat down, feeling numb inside. It was supposed to be the best birthday ever, and instead had turned out to be a nightmare. Desperately looking for any kind of happiness, she looked to the unopened presents still on the table, and went over to them. One by one, she unwrapped her gifts, revealing the contents inside. There were new clothes, no surprise there, matching bracelets from her friends, and a book on galaxy exploration from her mother. Opening her father's gift last, she felt a tear roll down her cheek when she saw what was inside. The access key to his ship, with a note. Stuffing the note away quickly, she refused to read it, because she knew what she had to do. She had to find the man who had taken everything from her. Once he was put to justice, then she would give herself the liberty of reading her father's final words. Her first stop was the ship, where she headed straight for where she knew his revolver would be. Making sure she had plenty of ammunition, she set off on her own, but promised to keep in contact with her mother.
