SPECIAL FEATURES

Strengths:
  • Ghost In The Blade -
Due to the accurately named 'Ghostfire Crystal' harbored deep in the weapons core, there is almost no actual blade one can see when activated, neither sound to indicate either. With neither the noise or the glow, Leviticus is a blade who's a duelists dream; forever being a simple afterthought in the minds of those it cuts down. This in addition to its Dual-Phase nature allow for a compendium of tactics employed by the greatest genius's of the battlefield.

[*]Ghost Out of The Blade -
  • If the invisible blade wasn't enough, even what can be seen is often a lie. Able to create afterimages with each strike, even the trained eye could easily be fooled into thinking the sword is not in the same position as it was only a moment ago; a righteous punishment for anyone who underestimates the wielder. Invisible blade, ghost images, the blade has a good reason to be feared across any battlefield it finds itself on.

[*]Long Story, Short Sword -
  • A somewhat simple application made many times more effective by an invisible blade, but the use of a Dual-Phase blade allows every instance to be done either close or far in engagement. There is no limit to tactile responses when one can keep an opponent at bay, bring them close for an assault, only to fool them on the exact length the blade actually was.

[*]Vong-Be-Gone -
  • Due to the VT-Disruptor Lens forming a specific frequency within the blade itself, no standard power gland is able to resist the extreme heat and tenacity of the otherwise invisible judgment found in its hilt.

[*]Force Enhancement -
  • Most notable of all Leviticus's strengths is the amount of force energy transferred into it through The Slave's unholy hands. This energy in turn becomes their own righteous blades, in the form of boons for the user, or drains for the opponent; though this does not come without dangers in itself. Anyone who utilizes the weapon in the wrong situation can find how easily its hunger can be turned on its user.

Weaknesses:
  • Gluttony -
Although the weapon gives a number of outright advantages through its various alterations in the metaphysical, this energy must come from somewhere. That means that while most often pointed towards the enemy, should the weapon ever be unable to do so it would have no choice but to drain from the wielder; effectively crippling its own user. Without the energy to sustain itself, none of the force powers will continue until it tastes blood once more.

This is to say, it does not discern who it eats from. Training, fighting with a team, anything that involves more than two people, it will simply choose the nearest force essence within regards to the owners aggression, but in the heat of battle that is one and all around them. Exclusively, this should be restricted to singular opponents, lest you risk killing those around you.

[*]Useless In The Void -
  • Not only because of its force imbued nature, but also its internal activation system, should the blade ever be subject to the emptiness of voidsteel, ysimilir fields, or anything that restricts The Force in any capacity; it becomes useless. Neither can it be turned off, nor can it be turned on; effectively becoming one of the galaxy's most expensive paperweights, right next to a solid block of electrum.

[*]Cortosis Counter -
  • As any lightsaber, there is no way for this sword to resist the Cortosis often used in counter-lightsaber operations. Although short, should it be force to cycle the dust through it system, it will take some time for the lightsaber to come back online. While the force powers connected may still work, there is no telling how long it may take before it becomes an outright weapon once more.

[*]No Soresu -
  • The invisible blade comes with a number of strengths, but also a number of weaknesses. That is to say, that without extreme amounts of training in a self defense form with the blade itself, there would be little chance of deflecting incoming blaster rounds or otherwise. Being nigh impossible to see or hear, the blade would be unbelievably difficult to position to deflect a shot, let alone deflect it in a direction that isn't your stomach.

Another weakness of the invisible blade, and its glaring length, is to accidently injure one of the various companions one might have around them at the time of activation or assault. Simply put, if the enemy can't see where the blade is going to be, how are your allies? Suffice to say there should be nobody around upon activation, lest you kill the entire room with flamboyant movements.

Although made with the intentions of being the ultimate dueling blade, there is still the unfortunate issue of learning how to use it, another massive issue with a nearly invisible and soundless blade. Without a near mastery in one of the various lightsaber forms, the blade is almost useless to anyone but a skilled expert of the art; with its unknown position being a serious issue towards anyone attempting to learn the various positions in lightsaber combat. This, in addition to its soundless hum, create a bad combination for a novice; becoming as much a danger for them as it is anyone that is unfortunate enough to face it down.

[*]No Sight No Problem -
  • The simplest way to avoid the dueling aspect of the blade is to simply focus much of ones energy into force sight, allowing them to notice the position of the weapon in far greater detail than a regular duelist. From the faint shimmers to the exact position of the handle, an experienced duelist with sufficient 'sight' of the device, they'd find almost no real issue fighting the saber compared to a conventional one. Very literally, none at all since it would make no difference to them.

DESCRIPTION

In standard ‘The Slave’ tradition, there he sat with nothing to do; a simple thought and idea popping into his head after a few careless moments of somewhat unneeded silence. He considered the way many of the greats of any era learned to fight not with a sith sword such as he used, but a lightsaber; something he would undoubtedly learn sometime in the near future. Of course, in the same train of thought he considered just what sort of lightsaber he’d use; the conventional ‘glow red and cut down the others’ sort, or something that really spoke to his personality?

Of course, he chose the latter.

Genesis came and so forth was Leviticus born, a disgustingly efficient weapon made for the exclusive purpose of killing and maiming all those that would seek to face it in a duel; its very heart and core being a Ghostfire Crystal magnified through the use of the darkside of the force, making all its known characteristic multiplied ten fold through the use of a skilled user like The Slave and his cruel brush known as The Darkstaff. With an invisible blade, no noise, and the passive boons any fighter would welcome; so was created a supreme weapon amongst many of the lightsabers of the galaxy. Something that spoke not to just the art, but to who the artist was;

A killer.

Still, while it may have a blade who men’s eyes can’t see, and a hum no mortal could hear, it did suffer from many glaring weaknesses The Slave would never care to admit. The extreme amount of skill required to wield it being one, while the hunger it held in its heart an entirely other. It wasn’t a conventional weapons by any means, and until The Slave truly understood lightsaber combat he’d never quite understand just where it stood low, and where it stood high.

The above goes a few notches beyond the properties of ghostfire crystal - the blades they produce are translucent rather than transparent and still shine dimly, and aren't completely silent either. Please dial back the languages a few notches to stay within this.

To begin, the first is Force Drain. This pull of power is not only used to pull away from an opponent, but also feed the Force Reflex and Battlemind meant to make the user nigh invincible. That is to say, when in full swing the blade is capable of drawing much of the opponents energy and emotions into itself and implement that into its owners furious hands. Its one thing to be killed by someone stronger than you, but its something else entirely to be killed by someone made strong by your own heartbeat.
This sort of power would need an RM thread.

I just want to be perfectly clear that wording like this is pretty much grounds for denial. There is no circumstance or situation that this will ever be acceptable. I'm going to ask that you remove this, or you can reword it if you wish to put it in a less overpowered phrasing, as well as anything else in this submission that resembles this.

You've got too many force powers going on here. Pick two and stick with them.
