What events are there to build a killing attempt on?

Like I attempted with Charzon I would probably respect a request to kill off a character more if the attempt to kill the character made plot sense to carry out.

Well she is a slave, she has had a rough life and she recently attempted an escape but I cant think of any events that it would make sense

It's a shame to kill a toon because a writer leaves. Maybe put her on the shelf and come back to her later and see if the muse is there. Keeps you from any retcon later.
