- [+] Born to Royalty: Liber has been raised as a royal, a Prince to a powerful family that is both wealthy and influential. As a result, he has grown with all the benefits and expectations that position holds. He is civil, well-mannered and treats people with respect - and expects the same in return. His life has been filled with lessons in political niceties, delegation, negotiation, education, economics, planetary histories, royal heraldry and family trees. And all of it is boring.
- [+] Bred for War: Liber's true talents, the ones that have been carefully cultivated by his father, are the Prince's capacity for war. He is a natural leader, he is highly strategic, he is able to understand his enemy, he shows battle wisdom beyond his years, and it seems that being on the battlefield or fighting a group of rebels comes as naturally as breathing to him. He has been trained - extensively - in most manner of combat, from martial to space, and has learned over a dozen weapons to above-average proficiency, as well as a strong understanding of a half-dozen martial art forms, including Teräs Käsi, Stava, Hijkata, Echani style, Tae-Jitsu and Honor Duels (Hapan custom).
- [+] Two-Handed Sword Mastery: Liber's true talents in fighting are focused on using the Cluvius heirloom weapon, the Cluvius War Claymore. The sword is a giant seven foot in length, and requires skill, strength and extensive training to handle with any capacity. From his early teenage years, Liber was clearly going to be a large, strong individual; and wanting to capitalize on that development, Ceres Cluvius ensured that his son began training under the best swordsmen in the galaxy with the War Claymore. After many years of development, training for up to five hours a day for over a decade, Liber has reached a level of mastery with the two-handed weapon that places him among the top swordsmen in his system - if not the sector, and perhaps beyond.
- [+] Big & Strong: It seems Liber lucked out on the genetic pool. Not only is he a towering six-foot-six-inches, he is also heavily muscular and naturally strong by most standards for a near-human (without enhancements). This allows him to perform feats of impressive physicality, and use heavy weapons and armor as though they were little more than mildly weighted training gear. Because of his lifetime of training, Liber is incredibly fit, and has near endless stamina; he once fought for seven hours, with only brief respites for field movements, during a revolt using the War Claymore and the heavy armor of the Cluvius household.
- [+] Skilled Force Combatant: As soon as Liber is within a combat scenario - whether on a battlefield or fighting an honor duel or a cantina brawl - his ability to channel the Force expands exponentially and he becomes a combat Force-wielding powerhouse, easily combining his martial art skills with telekinesis, mind melds, battle meditations and force barriers, to name a few. In fact, his ability to channel the Force while in a state of rage is unnatural, and where others might find focus difficult, Liber has discovered a new resource of power to call on against his enemies.
- [+/-] Internal Rage: Despite his upbringing as a Prince, Liber also has a natural deep rage, which is constantly bubbling under the calm surface. This causes him to lose his temper quickly under certain circumstances, such as being verbally berated or attacked, or being treated with disrespect, or when being mocked. It has become a constant chore to keep calm, especially given his upbringing to be a warrior for the Knights Obsidian. However, the benefit of his rage becomes evident when in battle; not only is Liber able to channel his anger, he is able to unleash it against his enemies, without having to restrain himself or his actions - if there is an enemy to be killed, that enemy will feel Liber's fully realized rage.
- [-] Blunt Honesty: Liber can be brutally honest, especially if he is annoyed or feels insulted. This strong sense of honesty can break his royal upbringing, bypassing his refinement and civility surprisingly naturally, much to the agitation of his father and sister.
- [-] Force Deficiency: Unlike in combat, where the Force is at his beck and call, outside of combat Liber has found using the Force can be difficult, because of the psychological and mental conditioning from consistent combat training from childhood. Without a threat or enemy to face, the Force seems hard to reach, and Liber hasn't been able to overcome it thus far, resulting in below-average Force use outside of combat or danger.
- [-] Stubborn: Liber is stubborn. Most of the time. He has developed a strong sense of self, knows his capabilities, and expects others to accept them and his decisions. Usually the Prince has the chops to back up any claims or stances he may take, but this stubbornness has also angered his friends and family on more than one occasion.
- [-] Dark Tendencies: Liber has developed a fondness for the dark side, over the light. He finds the more practical applications for combat afford him more power and resources to overcome his enemy, combined with his natural anger. As a result, as the years have gone on, Liber has started down a darker path than intended.
